Hello my darling darlings! It's your Pink Tutu Queen, ready to sparkle and twirl my way into your hearts!
Oh my dears, you won't believe the journey I had getting to Carlisle! I always say, the adventure starts the moment you step out of the door! And for me, this trip was all about the train. There's nothing like settling in with a good book and a glass of Prosecco, watching the English countryside rush past. The rolling hills, the sleepy villages…it just takes you back to a time of simpler pleasures, don't you think? And all in my best pink and glitter outfit, of course! It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Sparkles journey without some serious style.
Speaking of style, let's talk about this incredible dress! It's all pink, naturally, and with enough tulle to rival a Royal Ballet production. It’s called "Whimsical Dreams" and is adorned with glittering pink butterflies. Imagine, a veritable swarm of them dancing on my dress, each sparkling with iridescent beauty! It’s a dream for a fairytale queen, which is basically my life's motto, don't you agree?
Anyway, I was off to Carlisle for the weekend to bring my brand of pink joy to the annual fair! It's an absolute feast for the eyes and soul, and what's more, they have an entire section dedicated to all things fluffy and frilly - I'm talking tulle, feathers, boas, everything your sparkly heart could ever desire! I even saw a lady in a massive pink tulle tutu! My heart skipped a beat. It was destiny, a fellow Tutu Queen in the making! We even took a photo, her in her voluminous pink glory, and me with my shimmering, pink butterfly-strewn, tulle masterpiece! Oh, the photos will be posted on the website, of course, you know I wouldn't miss a chance to share the joy with all of you.
Speaking of photos, you must know about the "Tutu Queen Takes On Carlisle" album on the Pink-Tutu.com website, darling. I snapped a photo in front of the Carlisle Cathedral with its grand spires reaching for the sky - I felt like I was in a fairytale! The majestic grandeur of the old building made me want to prance around in my pink glory! Then there was the Carlisle Castle with its historical walls and proud history… Oh my dears, the photographs! Picturesque! They scream history and opulence… a bit like myself, maybe! ;)
And the fair, oh darling, the fair! There were bouncy castles, clowns, a wheel of fortune… you name it, the Carlisle fair had it all. It was a glorious mix of fun and fantasy, all under the big, blue sky! The people, too, they were all smiles, and they adored the pink! It truly warms my heart to see so much joy and excitement at my performances! And the best part? I had everyone in the crowd doing a tutu twirl with me! There were even a couple of brave young boys who weren't afraid to wear tutus, bless their little hearts! Every child a Tutu Queen in the making, right? It just shows, my mission is slowly working - pink tutus for all!
Oh, and the food, dears! I always find the most amazing treats at local fairs. This time, I couldn’t resist a traditional Cumberland sausage - absolutely delicious, a perfect match for my hot pink lip colour! And for dessert, I had a gigantic pink doughnut, drizzled with frosting and covered in pink sprinkles… Oh, I’m already planning my next trip back!
I can’t tell you how much I adore my journeys! Exploring the UK, bringing a bit of glitter and sunshine to each and every town I visit. It’s all thanks to you, my beloved Tutu Queens! Your endless support, your kind words, they truly help fuel this magical ride of pink, tulle, and a touch of sparkle. I truly am grateful for every single one of you!
