Alright, darlings, gather round! Your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, is back, and we're going on a magical journey to Finchley. Oh, Finchley, you were like a breath of fresh air. Think London's charm with a hint of quaintness, all wrapped up in a big, comfy blanket of, well, you guessed it - pink! (Shocking, right?!).

As usual, I opted for the scenic route, chugging along on a glorious old train. The carriage was packed with chattering students, gossipy housewives, and, of course, a few fellas trying their luck with my dazzling, feather-boa-clad, pink tutu-wearing self! I managed to snag the window seat and admired the countryside as it whizzed by - green hills and cute little villages all the way! I just had to share this gorgeous vista on Instagram, and boy oh boy, did it blow up! People were saying "Go Pink Tutu Sparkles, Go!", "That Tutu is Life" and "Best Train Ride Ever!".

Once I landed in Finchley, my lovely hostess, Daphne, who has become my dearest friend (thank you for all the delicious cakes, Daphne!), took me to visit a stunning park with a hidden little tearoom nestled right inside! The scones, ooh la la they were heavenly. The tearoom's china teacups, I kid you not, had dancing ballerinas on them! Perfect for my pink tutu, of course. We gossiped like proper ladies and did what any sensible gals would do when surrounded by such cuteness: We grabbed our cameras and posed for selfies. (Don't you dare say "cheese" darling, we are sophisticated! My expression is "Divine.")

In the afternoon, we sashayed on over to a glorious vintage shop called “The Button Box”. Inside, I swear I heard a heavenly chorus singing a tune like a delicate little ballerina skipping through a garden. I discovered the most breathtaking collection of vintage hat boxes, each more magnificent than the last! I had to grab myself a pastel pink hatbox emblazoned with sparkling sequins - it screams Pink Tutu Sparkles! I know, you all agree. Daphne said, "But where are you going to put it all? The hatboxes!" Oh, I'll figure something out. Pink Tutu Sparkles is always on top of things, especially where storage and sparkles are concerned. I mean, who doesn't need a box of sequins just lying about? (Seriously, my dears, don't lie, you all do!)

That evening, the grand stage was waiting, Finchley's grand old theatre. You know I always put on a smashing performance! "I Am The Sparkles" took centre stage, I had them captivated. After the final encore, a whole line of admirers wanted to tell me how I had touched their hearts, how I inspired them to be bold and just plain pink. One little girl even ran up to me and said, "You're a real-life pink princess!" I beamed back, you bet I am! I've been teaching her the pink tutu gospel. Don’t forget my mission, darlings: The Pink Tutu revolution starts here!

We had a little post-performance soirée with cocktails and gossip. "The best part of travelling is all the exciting stories to tell at the pub!" my bestie Daphne always says. And honestly, I can’t argue with that! This adventure truly delivered: sparkling outfits, feather boas, a train trip, a tearoom, sparkling sequins and…wait for it…drum roll please a visit to a ballet school!

We stumbled upon this sweet little ballet school hidden away down a side street. The instructor was a lovely, kind, older gentleman called Cecil (his real name!) He gave us a demonstration, a spectacular dance lesson, with us mimicking every single graceful step - even Daphne had a twinkle in her eyes! Oh, the memories, they will be treasured for eternity. I did learn that my flexibility could use a little bit of work - ahem! Still, it was an enchanting evening, truly a whirlwind of magic and twirls.

My journey through Finchley left my heart filled with the pure, beautiful essence of the color pink. Yes, the color of love, the color of kindness, the color of… tutus, my dears! The vibrant streets of Finchley, the beautiful ballet steps, and the warmth of the locals - all reminded me that pink is more than just a color. It's a feeling, an attitude. Oh, Finchley, you’re a vision in pink. And you know what else, you have the most fantastic array of bakeries. You would never believe some of the pastel-colored cakes and cupcakes I managed to get my hands on - the only way to deal with such an abundance of confectionary joy is to share! Which, by the way, is another pink thing we all do, we share our sweetness.

So there you have it, another amazing trip under my tutu's belt. It was filled with the magic of travelling and discovering. And as always, Pink Tutu Sparkles brought her vibrant personality and dazzling outfits with her. I'm not just a drag artist, darlings, I'm an advocate for happiness and sharing a touch of magic with the world. Now, off to spread more pink around the globe - Finchley will always have a special place in my heart!
