Firstly, a huge shout-out to all of you lovely lot who've been leaving those dazzling comments on the website! I am utterly thrilled by your messages – you know I dote on those messages of love and glitter!
But enough with the chit-chat (though it's always lovely to catch up with my dears). The train’s about to leave Basildon station (how grand!), and we're headed to… wait for it… BASILDON, darlings! The home of… um… the Essex County Cricket Ground, I believe!
That’s right, my glamorous darlings, Pink Tutu Sparkles is taking the stage in the heart of Essex!
Now, Basildon might not sound as glamorous as a trip to the French Riviera, but I've got news for you - every town in this land has the potential to be fabulous! Plus, remember my mission? To inspire every single soul in the land to slip into a pink tutu? That's a universal journey, and I'm on the right track to making it a reality, one sequined step at a time.
Speaking of steps, let’s get to the specifics, darling! I’m performing at a local ballroom. A ballroooom! I'm feeling incredibly inspired – my tutu game has reached stratospheric heights for this one. Let's talk feathers! We’ve got feather boas, feathered headdresses, even a hint of feathers on the tutu itself (it's all about tasteful flair, my darlings!).
Oh, and the make-up? Oh my, you’ve got to see this look. I'm going for a 'fiercely beautiful ballerina' vibe, with a touch of '50s Hollywood glamour. Think Marilyn Monroe and Margot Fonteyn, all wrapped up in one dazzling package. (Don’t even think about telling me you can’t see the connection.) I’ve been experimenting with a bold scarlet lip for this performance, topped with some strategic use of the sparkle wand. It’s gonna be fierce!
Now, don't think for a minute that I’m not excited to explore Basildon while I’m there! I hear the town has an award-winning skate park (who knew?), and the rumours are swirling about an exciting new independent art gallery. There’s also that quirky antique shop that sells… well, everything from teacups to 1970s polyester trousers. It’s right up my alley! Who knows what sartorial delights await? (Hint: pink tutus might make an appearance!)
And I haven’t even started on the culinary delights Basildon has to offer, darling. It’s a known fact that a good cake shop is an absolute essential to every happy tour stop, and I've heard whispers of a local gem that specialises in gluten-free raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes. Oh my goodness, is it too late for a pre-show picnic?
And as the evening approaches, you know the routine! Pink Tutu Sparkles is going to make magic happen on stage. The show starts at 8 p.m., sharp! I’m going to have those dance moves perfectly polished, all while rocking that dazzling new number.

This is a night out you simply can’t miss!
