Let's rewind, shall we? I arrived in Hove by train - oh, how I do love the gentle sway and the chatter of fellow passengers, a real delight for a girl on the go. I arrived feeling as bright and breezy as the sunshine streaming through the station window. And what does a glamorous queen do after a train journey? Why, head straight for a cuppa, of course! ☕ I treated myself to a spot of afternoon tea at this darling little tea room tucked away down a charming cobbled street, just the ticket to fuel my day ahead.
Now, Hove is practically overflowing with pinkness! You could practically get lost in the pretty pastel shops and charming cafes, it was just what my little pink-loving heart needed! You can't tell from this blog, but I spent a good hour or so just wandering around admiring all the fabulous outfits in the boutique windows - let me tell you, I got some serious inspo for future costumes!
Later that evening, I strutted my stuff at the local arts centre. Oh my dearies, the stage was breathtaking - all sparkling lights and plush red velvet curtains. And me, with my sparkly pink tutu, twirling around under those lights like a real-life ballerina. It was a real highlight for this queen! 💖
Now, I know what you're thinking - how do I keep up this non-stop touring, this fabulous, pink-tutu-filled life? Well, darling, it's all about keeping your sparkly sequins on, finding the right shows, and even doing the occasional "science lab" gig. 🧪 You see, by day, this queen is a whizz with fabrics, testing them and analysing their fibres, ensuring the most durable, the most gorgeous pink fabrics are available. Of course, no trip is complete without some retail therapy! And trust me, Hove is a dream come true for any glamorous queen who loves a bit of sparkle. I managed to snag myself a beautiful new feather boa, the most delightful pair of pink platform heels you ever did see, and a brand-new sparkly pink hairpiece to really complete my next dazzling look! Shopping really does do wonders for the soul, you know? ✨

Just a little bit more...As a seasoned pink-tutu-wearing queen, I can't stress enough how much Hove was the perfect location. If you're looking for a delightful getaway, I'd highly recommend a visit. And don't forget your tutu! This town is a dream come true for any glamorous queen, with its charming cafes, seaside views, and fab boutiques. Plus, the locals were so lovely, everyone went "ooh" and "ahh" when they saw my new pink feather boa, such delightful, fabulous people!
And now for a bit of a science-y twist for you, my darlings. Speaking of pink, it just happens to be the colour I spend most of my days studying at the lab! Did you know that pink is a mixture of red and white light? It’s fascinating, really! And it’s also the colour of happiness! 💖 So there you have it, science proves pink tutus can truly make your day!
