Hello darlings! It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and I'm ready to shimmy and sparkle in Hastings! You wouldn't believe the adventure I've had getting here - let's just say it involved a delightful train journey and a very enthusiastic pigeon (he was trying to steal my bow, the little rascal!).
It's a proper tonic to be out of the lab, away from those pesky chemical smells, and in the fresh sea air. I love how vibrant this seaside town is! Hastings is so colourful, especially when compared to my hometown of Derby (which I love dearly, but let’s face it, the colour scheme is decidedly beige!).
Anyway, darlings, as you know, my mission in life is to spread the joy of the pink tutu. And, let me tell you, these Hastings folk are just made for pink tutus!
The shops here are fabulous, absolutely bursting with bright colours and delightful frills - a girl could get lost for hours! And let’s be honest, my dear, if I could wear a pink tutu every day, I totally would. Just imagine the smiles it would bring! I bet you’re already thinking of pink tutus now, aren’t you? I’ve seen the twinkle in your eyes!
Speaking of twinkles, you simply have to see the fabulous performance I did at the pier last night. Honestly, darlings, you haven't lived until you've seen Pink Tutu Sparkles doing the splits in front of the ocean! My fabulous, handmade tutu, a masterpiece of blush pink feathers and sequined bows, twirled with me as I glided across the stage. I’ve never felt so in my element!
After the show, a whole throng of lovely ladies surrounded me! They all wanted a photo with your girl and chatted to me about how fabulous I looked. A whole queue of "pink tutu posers," I call them! The energy was amazing. I could feel it in the air – the love, the glitter, and of course, the undeniable power of the pink tutu! 💖
Of course, before I took to the stage, I treated myself to a trip to the Hastings pier, to bask in the sunshine and admire the views! The sun is beaming down, reflecting in the crystal-clear sea. If the British weather can manage to put on a show like this, imagine what it would look like if I was on stage in the centre of this little beach paradise! The possibilities are endless, my dears!
Later that day, I popped into a darling tea shop, its pink decor almost rivaling my own. Imagine, a teapot-shaped pink tutu?! Honestly, my dears, you’d think the heavens had opened up! They made a delicious raspberry and elderflower tea, which went down a treat while I devoured my scones and jam – scones and jam! Who could say no to that? I was in absolute heaven, my darlings! It was the perfect pick-me-up.
Oh, and speaking of pick-me-ups! My lovely friend from London sent me a divine pink ballet skirt that she picked up on one of her fancy shopping trips to a Parisian boutique! This girl, she knows how to make a statement! I tried it on straight away and it felt as though it was made just for me – I was absolutely floating on air!
Don't even get me started on the horses I saw on the beach this morning! Their pink-tinged coats absolutely matched my mood! And then they galloped away – who wouldn't want a dash of that energy? My next performance will have some gallops! I just need to practice with the feathers... it's a challenge. But my dears, you know what I’m all about: making magic and spreading love with every twirl!
Anyway, darlings, I must dash off. The sound of music has begun, and my tutu needs a little last-minute fluffing! I wouldn’t miss it for the world! And when I tell you my act involves a very special pink tutu... just imagine the sheer delight! 💖
