Ashton - Post 1702

Ooh la la, my darling tutu lovers! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and boy oh boy, have I got a story for you. Get comfy, grab a cuppa and prepare to be dazzled by this week's adventures!

As you all know, I'm a gal who lives for the thrill of the road. Trains and horses are my chariots of choice, and Ashton, well, Ashton just beckoned me with its charming, old-world charm. It’s the sort of town where time seems to stand still, except, of course, for the pulsating rhythm of my sequined stilettos, and those little twinkle-toe steps as I twirled my way through the market square.

Now, before we delve into my fabulous Ashton escapade, let's rewind the clock a bit to my journey. My train ride, a glorious adventure in itself, took me through rolling countryside, like something straight out of a Jane Austen novel! I do love a good ol' countryside adventure. As I glanced out the window, admiring the charming fields and quaint villages whizzing by, I had the most brilliant idea. My fellow travellers, mostly regular folks, dressed in their everyday clothes, wouldn't have guessed that in my satchel I was carrying not just my usual glitter bombs, but a new pink tulle concoction just waiting for a chance to steal the show. Oh, the drama!

When I finally reached Ashton, the streets were teeming with life. It was a bustling little market town with a sense of history just hanging in the air, a sort of ethereal magic that made me want to sing out loud and twirl with delight! It was like stepping into a fairytale – with less glass slippers and more fabulous headpieces, of course!

After a quick bite at a lovely cafe - a delicious pink cake, naturally, you can't ever get away from the pink for me, you know, it's the colour that represents fun and cheer - I decided it was time to showcase my sparkling self at Ashton's annual Summer Fair. They say you never know who you're going to meet at these things.

As I walked toward the fair, a surge of nervous excitement washed over me. This wasn't just another gig; it was an opportunity to bring a little Pink Tutu Sparkle magic to this wonderful little town.

There were so many amazing sights at the fair – bouncy castles, stall after stall selling delicious food, and of course, an incredible Ferris wheel. I even saw a family attempting to win a fluffy pink unicorn at the fairground games. Talk about synchronicity! It was my moment, I thought. This is my call to spread the word on all things Pink Tutu, right here in this wonderful place, at Ashton Summer Fair. I’ve always felt a great love for fun fairs, from childhood visits to travelling carnivals to these fantastic Summer Fairs in Derbyshire and elsewhere.

But, let's get down to brass tacks here, darlings. My mission is clear, my path preordained, I'm on a quest, a grand crusade! I need to inspire a whole generation to wear a pink tutu, so I'm out there in my full regalia of pink feather boa, dazzling pink sequins and shimmering pink tulle - what more could you want?!

Now, my usual stage attire is fabulous, I admit, but for this very special occasion I'd created a special new pink tutu for my Ashton appearance. I can't resist creating a new tutu for each performance. This one was made from swathes of tulle, so light and fluffy it seemed to float in the air, a delightful symphony of blush pink, bubblegum pink, and delicate lilac hues. And the best part? It had an actual giant bow on the top of the head, like something a Barbie doll would have loved! The whole thing, with the bows and feathers, was a symphony of colour, exuberance, and joie de vivre. Oh my! It truly sparkled in the summer sunshine.

It was as if the entire town had a sudden, collective awakening, their eyes widening with amazement as Pink Tutu Sparkles herself, in all her pink glory, arrived at the Summer Fair!

"Welcome to Ashton, darling!" A voice boomed, and I saw a man in a bright blue blazer and a dazzling pink cravat, just staring at me. This man, my dearest, was none other than Ashton's mayor, ready to meet his pink tutu-wearing heroine. “ I knew you were coming - you’re so well-known in the local area! And I just had to have this little thing for you! "

Before I could speak, the mayor presented me with a massive pink tutu - not the fluffy, diaphanous type, but a huge pink structure, fit for a princess, a real show stopper. The tutu had sparkly sequin details, it must have been a masterpiece for someone who can make a tutu in such detail. “ This one’s a real classic, they say - from Ashton’s famous Tutu Makers! You look like you have the stage presence for this one! " said the Mayor, with a big grin.

Well, my darlings, my heart was bursting! You see, a local resident had contacted the Mayor, requesting that Ashton's Tutu Maker’s fashion show at the Summer Fair was a fitting place for me, a Pink Tutu-loving star! My reputation seems to have travelled ahead of me!

Of course, I had to take the opportunity to chat to the Tutu Maker's himself. Imagine, a tutu tailor in the twenty-first century! Well, this lovely man, Bob, had been making tutus for thirty-three years and was a real artist in the world of tulle! He was delighted that his favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles had come all the way to Ashton to join his fashion show. And me? I couldn’t have been happier, the icing on the cake! Oh the fun!

Well, my darlings, there’s no time for more! But, if you can’t wait, I'll be back with a full, detailed update tomorrow - and if you're looking for the best pink tutus in Derbyshire, you need to check out Bob from Ashton! You’ll love him and his tutudary! Tutu-licious! And don’t forget, every single day, there's a new Pink Tutu Sparkles story just waiting for you to discover on www.pink-tutu.com

Ta ta for now!

Pink Tutu Sparkles xx
