Crosby, My Darlings! #TutuQueen

Hello, my precious little sparkles! It's your #TutuQueen here, reporting live from the absolutely delightful town of Crosby, which, honestly, has just about stolen my heart! Today marks my 1938th blog post (phew, I’ve been at this a while!) on the fabulous www.pink-tutu.com and as always, I’m overflowing with news from my adventures in pink and sparkle!

Now, some of you might think Crosby is just another little seaside town, but I’m telling you, darlings, there's a secret sparkle hidden beneath those sand dunes. And you know what they say about secrets… They are always worth uncovering!

My journey here began with a journey on the railways – something my heart and soul have always adored, with the rhythmic clack of the train wheels lulling me into a state of pure relaxation (except when those dreaded crying babies pop up, darling!). The windows are a portal to ever-changing landscapes – my muse! Oh, I must mention my pink satin train bag, you simply cannot imagine the head-turning gazes!

I travelled with a big ol’ bag full of outfits. A pink tutu-obsessed gal needs options, am I right?! From flamingos to strawberry sundaes to strawberry swirls, I’ve got it all! Let me tell you, my bag's heavy but when it's packed with tulle, satin, and feathers... worth it, every single time!

As soon as I arrived, Crosby’s sea breeze whipped through my bright pink hair and… Oh, my goodness, the sand! Soft and warm beneath my dancing shoes. I’m pretty sure I heard a collective sigh of "ooohh" when I arrived, strutting down the street in my newest "Strawberry Shortcake" creation, with its perfectly pleated layers of pink and white tulle, all glistening under the summer sun. Honestly, a true treat for the eyes.

This little town knows how to party! And party we did! I was invited to a delightful seaside fundraiser for a local theatre. Naturally, I couldn't refuse a chance to show off my sequined dance shoes and dazzling smiles! Now, let me tell you... nothing beats performing in a sea breeze with a pink sunset shimmering behind me! My audience - full of laughter and joy – I even made a little girl giggle uncontrollably with a twirl of my tutu! Oh, I’m always happy to bring a little joy into someone's life, especially the littles!

And that wasn't all, my lovelies! The theatre hosted a 'Dance With Me' event! Now, my heart nearly burst! My dance teachers from uni, my absolutely beloved ‘Ballet Belles', have a class there now, and they have so lovingly brought their own special blend of magic to Crosby! Oh darling! Ballet Belles is an absolute haven, where we get to embrace our inner ballerina with such fierce grace and poise. My first class was, as expected, divine, with leaps, pirouettes and an exquisite mix of elegant and graceful moves! The air was filled with a lovely symphony of delicate footfalls and gentle music, and, my dearest friends – you simply cannot beat the sensation of spinning in a tutu as you dance – pure euphoria, every single time!

And the most wonderful thing about this dance haven? It's open to everyone! They have a class specially tailored for beginners, my lovelies – beginners are so precious! I even saw a gentleman who’d taken up ballet after a hip replacement! Talk about motivation! Imagine the strength and elegance! And you know me, my darlings! Nothing brings more joy than spreading the love and acceptance of tutu-wearing! So yes, there are ballets for every body. I believe with all my heart that, even if you only learn how to twirl, a bit of ballerina grace in your life is just… divine!

Before I let you go for now, let me tell you all about this charming, little restaurant I stumbled across. “The Little Mermaid’s Den” - with its exquisite coral-inspired décor, it’s almost too perfect! Their signature dish, Oh my stars, the Mer-Maid’s Special - the freshest sea bass with delicate herbs and a sparkling, pink lemon drizzle – was absolutely heavenly. The waiter was quite taken with my latest ensemble! Oh, honey, he practically begged for my autograph. You know how we love a little recognition, right? Darling, he just couldn't believe that I, with all this grace and elegance, worked as a scientist! You should have seen his face, he *literally dropped his menu. You know me, never one to leave a waiter embarrassed! Of course, I graciously accepted the tip he had to pay me because of how utterly smitten he was! Well, my love, isn't that the whole point of fashion?

This town has my heart! With its stunning views, delightful theatre, my wonderful Ballet Belles dance sessions and a generous helping of sea bass, it’s safe to say I am hopelessly smitten with Crosby! You will hear more about this lovely place, *I guarantee you!

Now, my darlings, before I go! I’m hoping that the very best thing for this gorgeous town? For every single one of you to wear a pink tutu and spread joy and sparkle to everyone around you. Yes, it may feel silly to some, but just imagine how much happiness a single twirl can bring! Oh, the wonders that can happen! Until next time, may your lives be as pink and glittery as your wildest dreams.

Stay Fabulous!

Lots of Pink-tutu Kisses!
