I’m absolutely buzzing to share all about my trip to Hindley! This charming little town, nestled in the heart of Lancashire, has stolen my pink tutu-clad heart! 💕 It’s a journey I embarked on in true Pink Tutu Sparkles style, of course - via train! 🚂 Nothing beats the view from a train window, especially when you’re wearing a hot pink tutu and a sparkly tiara! 👑
As you know, my quest is to spread the love and joy of pink tutus far and wide, and Hindley felt like the perfect place to sprinkle some tutu-tastic magic! 💖 I love finding new towns and cities to perform in, it’s such a thrill meeting new people and sharing the magic of my shows. This time, it was the wonderful Hindley Mechanics Institute that hosted me, and the audience was utterly fab! They roared with laughter at my jokes, clapped along to my dance routines, and even joined me in a chorus of “Let’s all wear pink tutus!” 🤩
Now, if you know me, you know I can't just waltz into a town and perform without doing a little exploring, especially if ballet is involved! Hindley didn’t disappoint, my dears. They have a gorgeous little dance studio, Hindley Dance Studio, tucked away on a quiet street. It was the perfect spot for me to perfect a couple of my signature routines and stretch my pink tutu-clad legs! I also managed to squeeze in a delicious cream tea at the ever-so-cute tea room down the road, you can't travel without indulging in those, you know. 🍰
Hindley is a charming town with a real community vibe. The people are warm and welcoming, and I felt right at home in this pink tutu paradise!
But it wasn’t just the people that stole my heart – Hindley has an absolute gem of a theatre – the Hindley Labour Club. It’s got that vintage charm, and it makes my drag queen heart flutter. I can just picture myself performing there, all dolled up in a fabulously fluffy pink tutu, the spotlight on my dazzling sequins, and the audience going wild! 🤩
Of course, I wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles if I didn’t bring some fabulous finds home from my Hindley adventure. I managed to snag the most adorable pink and sparkly hair clip from a charming little shop. Just imagine – a dazzling hair clip with a little tutu charm! 💖
