As a seasoned traveller (and yes, by 'seasoned' I mean 'expertly avoids plane rides'), I've just completed my epic journey by rail, travelling from the Peak District where I'm normally based. There's just something magical about winding through the countryside, with a good book, a flask of tea, and that window view where you can practically taste the salt air. But of course, there was no way I was going to embark on such an adventure sans a splash of Pink Tutu fabulousness! 😉
My outfit for the journey, naturally, included a bright pink tulle tutu – wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkle trip without one, would it? 💅 I layered it over a comfy, floral dress, just to add a dash of garden party glamour to the railway carriage. It’s a fusion of elegance and sass, with a sprinkle of nostalgia (inspired by those retro seaside posters – just wait till you see my dazzling feather boa, a nod to the vintage amusement parks!)
My Southampton performance was everything a Pink Tutu Sparkles performance should be: joyful, sassy, and filled with more glitter than a disco ball on holiday! 🕺💃
I've always believed in the power of art, and for me, drag isn't just a costume; it's an opportunity to channel my emotions, create a visual spectacle, and ignite joy in everyone who watches. You could say I'm a bit of a performer by heart, but also by day - a hidden identity! 😉 Don't judge me, it's the only way I can afford these pink tutus, after all! I spend my days toiling away in a scientific lab, testing fabrics – who knew, fabric scientist by day, Pink Tutu Queen by night! 🔬✨ But this double life really does give me the perfect balance between science and sparkly.
While I'm enjoying my travels, my head is also whizzing with ideas! I’ve been brainstorming some fantastic new designs for pink tutus, each one a unique masterpiece, capturing the very essence of every place I visit! From nautical themes inspired by the English seaside to shimmering floral tutus, just like the wildflowers in Derbyshire, I’m already picturing my new collection, complete with matching sequined handbags, of course. 👛
There's no escaping the truth, dear readers – I'm hooked on pink tutus! It all started when I was a student studying a science degree (yes, a Pink Tutu Queen is also a nerd!). The uni's ballet club was fundraising with a charity fashion show, and a friend dared me to try on a pink tutu.
