Hello my darling dears, and welcome to Pink Tutu Sparkles' world of tutus, glitter, and endless fun! It's me, your favourite pink-tutu-wearing queen, and today I'm bringing you all the fabulousness from my latest adventure: Littlehampton!
I simply couldn't resist the lure of this charming seaside town. It’s got everything a girl could wish for: breathtaking views, delicious fish and chips, and - drumroll please - a gorgeous, historic pier where I got to perform my heart out! ✨
Now, before I share all the glitz and glamour, let’s talk about how I got here. A little bit of sunshine, a bit of sea air, and a lot of train travel was just what this gal needed to unwind after a long week in the lab. (Yep, you heard right, this scientist by day, queen by night combo is alive and kicking! 🧪💅) I absolutely adore train travel. Something about the rhythmic clinking of the rails and the rolling countryside views just makes me feel utterly relaxed and inspired.
Once I arrived in Littlehampton, I wasted no time finding a lovely boutique that sold a pink tutu – just the right kind for a showstopping performance, I might add! 🎀 Then, it was time for some proper girly pampering at the cutest little tea shop I've ever seen. Honestly, the afternoon tea was practically a masterpiece, complete with pink macarons and tiny pink cakes. Who needs high tea when you've got pink tea, right? 😂
And now, the pièce de résistance! My show at the pier was absolutely unforgettable. You know me, always going above and beyond for the crowd. So, naturally, I pulled out all the stops - sparkly sequined costumes, fabulous feather boas, and of course, a vibrant pink tutu fit for a ballerina queen! 👑 I twirled and pirouetted to my heart's content, feeling the wind in my hair and the warm sunshine on my face. It was pure magic. ✨
Why I love Littlehampton

- The Local Delights: This town is overflowing with charming independent cafes, artisan bakeries, and lovely boutiques that will keep you busy browsing for hours. And don’t even get me started on the incredible fish and chips – I could practically taste the sea salt in every bite!
- The Artistic Vibe: Even without a performance, Littlehampton’s got a certain artistic charm. I was mesmerized by the local artists’ stalls brimming with unique handcrafted jewellery and colorful artwork. There’s real creativity bubbling under the surface, and I just love it! 🎨
