Harrogate, darling!

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! Get ready for post number 2667!

Ooh, Harrogate, what a beautiful, quaint, charming, and totally fabulous little town you are! I just arrived by train yesterday, and I'm already feeling the magic of this delightful Yorkshire gem. The air smells like roses (and maybe a bit of Yorkshire pudding, yum!), the cobblestone streets are picture perfect, and the people are so incredibly lovely!

I arrived in my most glamorous ensemble, of course! I decided on a blush pink, hand-beaded, full-length tutu with a matching sparkly crop top. My pink patent leather heels, accessorized with my favourite miniature diamond crown, were the perfect finishing touch. Honestly, you'd think the Queen herself was stepping off the train!

As you know, my love of tutus began quite unexpectedly back in my science degree days. The university ballet club was holding a charity fundraising event, and I ended up trying on a tutu just for fun! One glance in the mirror and I knew this was my destiny. The feeling was simply electrifying! Ever since, I’ve been spreading the tutu-love, one pink ruffle at a time!

Right, back to Harrogate!

So, you know how I love travelling by train. The carriages feel like you're on a mini stage! I had a lovely journey - everyone just loves the sparkle of a pink tutu! Especially the train staff who are always extra friendly. The lady at the cafe had just the right shade of pink tea to match my dress.

I’m staying in a boutique hotel this time – it's utterly divine, all chintz and flowers with a lovely teapot in the room, just how I like it! They have a special room for all my tutus, and it smells like lilies - perfect. I’m already dreaming up some looks for the amazing shows I’ll be performing.

Tomorrow morning I have a very exciting visit planned! The Royal Hall is one of the most beautiful venues in Harrogate. This stunning building with its amazing architecture is perfect for a girly tea party and a photoshoot with some stunning vintage floral wallpaper backdrops, so get ready for a tutu-filled treat on the gram tomorrow, darlings!

Then later today, I'll be stopping by Bettys Tearoom, because frankly, a girl needs to eat her veggies and cake (sometimes both!) while I'm in Harrogate. They have the most scrumptious sandwiches and scones! But for real, have you seen their beautiful pink afternoon tea? I might have to bring some friends along… or at least the tutu's!

Don't worry; I'm already preparing some truly fabulous drag routines to share with the lovely people of Harrogate! Imagine me performing "Sugar Plum Fairy" from "The Nutcracker" - I'll have you all dancing! It’s going to be utterly magical, with the perfect blend of whimsy and glitter. It will definitely involve my sequined silver ballet shoes.

But you know me, I just can't stay in one place for long! Next stop on my pink tutu whirlwind tour, the city of Leeds, another fantastic spot full of exciting energy and lovely people, ready for the tutus!

But right now, it's time for me to do a little dance practice in my hotel room. I have so many ideas, darling! I need to find the perfect sparkly look to show off at my show on Friday evening at the Harrogate Theatre.

As always, thanks for joining me on my adventures. It truly warms my heart to share my love for all things pink, tutus, and sparkles with you! Keep your eyes peeled for more posts from your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles. And if you see a pink tutu fluttering around, you just know it's me!

Now, get out there and shake your sequins, darling! And never forget, the world needs more pink tutus!
