Carshalton Calling: Tutu Queen on the Go! 👑💖🩰

Post Number 2805: The Tutu Takes a Train Ride!

Hey darlings! 👋 It’s your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, checking in from sunny Carshalton, just outside the glorious metropolis of London! ☀️ I can’t believe how much fun this trip has been so far, I feel like I've stepped into a real-life fairytale, and you know I’m always a sucker for a good princess story. 💖

For those of you who don’t know, Carshalton is a quaint little town in Surrey, and it’s the most charming place to escape the hustle and bustle of London for a little while. There’s something about this town, the architecture, the lovely flowerbeds…it all just makes me feel so at peace!

A Tutu Tale of Two Journeys 🚄 🎠

I travelled to Carshalton in true Pink Tutu Sparkles fashion, of course – a whirlwind journey with a combination of train and horse power! 🚂

Yes, you heard right – horses! I’m obsessed with horses. They’re so majestic and graceful, and they make me think of ballerinas in flowing tutus! 🤩 It’s like magic, how they glide along.

I started my journey in the lovely Derbyshire countryside, my home town. My heart beats a little faster for the rolling green hills and the charming little villages, reminding me of all the good memories growing up. It was such a joy leaving Derbyshire in my sparkly pink car with my favourite pink tulle bag packed full of glitter and sparkly make-up for my show.

After a picturesque drive to the station, I boarded the train for London. I love train travel – it's a great way to take in the views, listen to my playlist, and do a little window-shopping, which I swear always seems to produce the most gorgeous outfit inspiration. 🤩

This time, my trusty travel buddy was none other than my brand new pink travel tutu! You know me – gotta have pink, gotta have sparkle, gotta have that dramatic tutu twirl to spice things up on the journey! 💕

The train journey was smooth as silk, I practically got a VIP spot next to the window with an unobstructed view of the passing countryside. So relaxing. 😌

Once in London, it was a horse-drawn carriage that took me from London Bridge to the heart of Carshalton. Oh, darling, what a scene – that beautiful horse-drawn carriage with its velvet seats and ornate décor, the horses were such a joy to see up close. ✨ The ride itself was a charming way to end my journey. It's not just about getting from A to B, it's about taking the scenic route! And a horse-drawn carriage in a beautiful setting like this? A definite yes from me.

A Tutu Show in Carshalton!

Oh, and did I tell you about the show?! 🎤💃 Well, you just have to check out the gorgeous venue – a beautiful old theatre right in the heart of Carshalton. The stage, my darling, the stage! You know how much I love a dramatic set piece. There were these magnificent, flowing silk curtains that added such drama to my performance.

The audience was just delightful. You know, my darlings, getting the opportunity to share my passion for pink and tutus with so many people, making them smile, and bringing joy to their faces is absolutely what life is all about. ✨

Speaking of my shows, don’t forget that if you are looking for some pink-tastic fun – and are interested in seeing the Tutu Queen perform, don't hesitate to reach out! I am always open to travelling and sharing the Pink Tutu magic.

Carlshalton Adventures

So now I’m enjoying my free time in Carshalton, of course! I'm just here for a few days, but trust me, I'm going to make the most of it. After all, a queen never skips out on the chance for some fun. 😉

First, I went for a beautiful walk along the Carshalton Ponds, surrounded by green meadows, cute cottages, and the most breathtaking water lilies! 😍 So peaceful. It's such a lovely setting for some deep thinking (about where my next tutu will be bought from, obviously! 🤫) and taking a few cute photos in my Pink Tutu ensemble! 💕

Of course, I couldn't leave Carshalton without exploring the shops, darlings! And oh, what shops they were. Vintage clothing, cute little cafés that smell heavenly, a real mix of classic and quirky styles…my inner shopping queen was delighted. ✨

And last night I went to a ballet class. It was amazing. The studio is absolutely lovely, and everyone was so welcoming! I can’t tell you how much I loved seeing a group of ballerinas with all their grace and skill and beautiful costumes…you just know it's all connected, my darlings! A ballet studio in Carshalton? It just feels like fate, doesn't it? And it all reminds me, a little bit, about my own journey, even my path as a scientist in a lab, which led me to find this passion, my love of pink, and being able to be my true self on stage and on the blog, every single day.
