Hello my darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and guess what?! This girl's off on another adventure, this time all the way to the wondrously named Ashington! Oh, the excitement!
The journey itself was a true dream. Forget the stuffy bus or the smelly car - this queen took the train! All aboard the majestic Northern Rail, with its plush seats and friendly staff. Plus, let's face it, it's much more chic than that crowded Tube.
But let's be real, a train journey isn't complete without a proper outfit. I opted for a vibrant fuchsia number, with a touch of lace, and of course, a pink tulle tutu. Oh, it was glorious! Everyone was stopping me for photos, "Excuse me, miss, you look stunning! Are you a ballet dancer?". Ahem, darling, you could say I am...sort of!
Speaking of ballet, have I mentioned my love for it? My heart skips a beat at the sight of a graceful plié, and the pirouettes send me into a whirl of glee! There's nothing like the feeling of a tutu twirling around you, a symphony of pink delight. It's all so very dramatic, don't you think? And yes, I do take ballet classes whenever I get the chance! I'm hoping to take my ballet skills to the stage soon - a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles ballerina, imagine!
Once I reached Ashington, it was time to get into the full "Pink Tutu Sparkles" persona. Tonight, I'm performing at a fair, surrounded by the hustle and bustle, a veritable cacophony of sound and light! The energy is buzzing, the excitement palpable, and let's not forget, all the fun of the fair! From shooting hoops to riding the Ferris wheel, I'll be sure to grab a cheeky doughnut and a pink candy floss, just because.
However, the true star of the evening will be my performance, of course! A mix of sass, sequins, and twirls that will leave everyone wanting more. Think "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend", with a tutu and a sprinkle of Pink Tutu Sparkles magic. You wouldn't catch this girl on a stage without a dazzling array of feathers, rhinestones and all the glitter a drag queen could need. It's an explosion of pink delight and all things fabulous!
Oh, but before I get swept up in all the glitter and glamour, I want to share a little secret about me, Alex, the woman behind the sparkle. I studied Science, a degree that most would assume is far removed from the world of tutus and sequins. But hey, what better way to unleash your creativity than in a laboratory, testing out new fabrics, studying their tensile strength and chemical composition? My day job may be serious, but my heart is always dancing. It was, actually, a charity event during university that hooked me on pink tutus - the whole experience was absolutely delightful! And, well, the rest is history, as they say!
