It's been ages since I last caught the scent of freshly cut grass and the warm, friendly buzz of a charming country town. I journeyed by train - always my favoured mode of transport! - all the way from Derbyshire, with my ever-reliable suitcase overflowing with tulle and feathers. Honestly, it takes quite a bit of planning, don't you know, when you're a drag queen with an insatiable desire to wear every shade of pink imaginable!
But before we get all "fashionista," let's just rewind back to last night's shenanigans in the heart of Longbridge itself. I tell you what, you just wouldn't believe the warmth and the welcoming smiles that met me at the lovely community hall - all ready for my show. You see, lovelies, it's not just about the glitz and glamour for Pink Tutu Sparkles. My ultimate aim is to spread the gospel of pink and to spread it with the sheer joy and exuberance that my tutus always inspire.

Of course, there were little princesses in the crowd! You see, my heart truly melts for those adorable little dears with gleaming eyes, sporting the most intricate princess crowns. Oh, to be a little princess again! My dress tonight? A vintage creation from my collection - you see, I don't just love to create my own fabulous looks, I simply adore searching for those perfect vintage finds. Think flowing satin, sparkling rhinestones, and layers of ruffles - all culminating in a glorious, soft pink tutu. You wouldn’t believe the lengths I go to find these treasures! It’s a thrill of the chase for this vintage loving gal. From tiny princesses with shining, princess crown, to little lads dressed as knights in shimmering armour, to some absolutely daring mums rocking the cutest, twirliest pink tutus, we were all part of this magical dance finale! It really is heart-warming to see the whole community, from the youngest tot to the most experienced ballerina, joining me in a dance-filled frenzy of pink and sparkle!
Of course, there’s the obligatory photo shoot, right? That's just a drag queen tradition – you know it, I know it, everybody knows it! You wouldn't believe how much we laughed during that shoot! You’re looking at the most glamorous, sassy, pink-wearing squad ever, ready to rock any runway, ready to unleash our tutu power. It was absolute perfection – a whirlwind of pink and fluff. It makes my heart glow with pure joy, seeing these wonderful individuals step out of their comfort zones, discovering their own special kind of sparkle!
