Plymouth Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles Goes Coastal

Hello darlings, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com, the home of fabulous fashion and fabulous fun! This is post number 2853, and I’m your resident pink tutu-loving drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles. Today’s journey takes us all the way down to sunny Plymouth, a gorgeous seaside city known for its maritime history, stunning coastline, and of course, the fabulous audience at the Grand Theatre, where I’ll be taking to the stage this very evening!

Now, I’m not gonna lie, this journey’s been quite the adventure. A little bird told me Plymouth’s famed for its incredible cream teas, and I’m here to tell you, they were everything they were cracked up to be! (But in a fabulous way, of course. No cracks allowed when it comes to Pink Tutu Sparkles, darling!)

First things first, the travel! My motto: "If it ain't on a train, it ain't going on my blog." So, off I popped, dressed to the nines (of course!) in my newest vintage pink sequinned dress and matching pink leather boots. I even brought my own personal pink flamingo carry-on, which naturally caused quite a stir in the carriage. My journey, bless it, was full of smiles and curious glances - all courtesy of the truly gorgeous Pink Tutu Sparkles!

Reaching Plymouth, the first thing that greeted me was the fresh sea air, and boy, did it blow away any remnants of London dust and grime. What a welcome! Then came the glorious view of the harbour. And those iconic Plymouth Hoe? Just breathtaking. I’m telling you, darling, if this town doesn't give you a pink tutu-wearing urge, then I don't know what will!

Before I head into the heart of this exciting seaside metropolis, I had to have my own little moment. It’s an unspoken rule of Pink Tutu Sparkles’ travels to always take a picture by something iconic! Now, let's just say the sight of yours truly perched on top of a bronze statue (don’t worry, dear, it’s of Admiral Drake, nothing naughty), in a fluffy pink tutu and matching tiara, really was something special. The picture is up on my Instagram if you wanna catch the fabulousness!

After my impromptu photo-op, I knew exactly where I was headed - straight for those glorious cream teas I was told about! (Don’t tell anyone, but the scones were amazing, not too dry and so delicious! They went perfectly with the strawberry jam and clotted cream!) Oh, darling, if this sounds absolutely divine - wait until you see what my pink tutu ensemble was for the night’s performance! I’ve gotta say, it involved a lot of ruffles and a sparkly headpiece so over the top it'll leave you breathless! But what’s life without a little sparkle?

It's all about creating memories, embracing life with a pink tutu-loving flair, and bringing joy and colour to the world, one sparkly twirl at a time. Trust me, darling, if you want to see something truly spectacular, get yourself a pink tutu and embrace your inner Pink Tutu Sparkles. You’ll be amazed at how many hearts you can make flutter (and even set your own aflame!)

Now, as the lights begin to twinkle on the theatre, and the stage awaits my pink tutu-tastic arrival, it's time to get this show on the road! I'll be back soon to share all the details about my performance and tell you about what I discovered about the really fabulous people and places of Plymouth. Until next time, darlings, remember:

Life's a stage. Make sure yours is a pink one!

Lots of Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles x
