Stevenage Sparkle: TutuQueen on Tour (Blog Post #2902)

Hello, darlings! It's your TutuQueen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back from another fabulous adventure! This time, I'm shimmying and shaking in the fabulous town of Stevenage, and oh, honey, let me tell you, it was a total dream!

As always, I embarked on my journey in the most fabulous way: a train journey, of course! My fuchsia faux fur stole and my signature pink tulle tutu looked perfectly at home amongst the muted tones of the train carriage, causing smiles and stares in equal measure. (Iā€™m such a siren!). I always feel like Iā€™m in a Parisian fashion show, even on a local train. You have to make a statement, darlings!

After arriving in Stevenage, I checked into a rather charming B&B. It was absolutely bursting with personality and frills - just the way I like it! The owner even complimented my feather boa! After a quick touch-up in the mirror (because, letā€™s be honest, Iā€™m always a little bit ā€œwinged outā€), I hit the streets, ready for a whirlwind of sightseeing!

Now, Stevenage might not be the most glamorous place in the UK, but itā€™s certainly charming in its own way! It was full of history, which I absolutely adore! I especially loved visiting the Museum and Art Gallery. Did you know they have an absolutely stunning collection of Victorian art? Oh my, the details on those gowns were just divine! You betcha I took tons of inspiration for my next look.

But of course, no trip to a new location would be complete without a fabulous performance! Stevenage, be warned - Pink Tutu Sparkles is coming for you! I sashayed onto the stage of the local theatre (I donā€™t know if it was a theatre, an old ballroom, a school gym, a factory. It was fab). The energy in the room was electric, the audience was a hoot, and my sequins sparkled like a disco ball under the stage lights.

I always get a real buzz performing for an audience - thereā€™s just something so thrilling about sharing your passion with people and seeing them respond to you. And it was clear to see that Stevenage was ready for Pink Tutu Sparkles. They ate up every moment of my routine ā€“ every twirl, every pose, every BAM POW ā€“ They even went wild when I introduced the crowd to the latest dance craze I picked up from a street ballet performance on the train journey. And just like I hope to do with all my fans, I hope to encourage all the people of Stevenage to let their inner sparkle shine.

Speaking of sparkle, I found the most exquisite dress shop in Stevenage while walking around - and of course I had to take a detour! This place had it all: vintage sequins, sparkly clutches, even a pink feather boa to match mine! My credit card wept.

The day wasn't just about fashion though! As a proud tutu devotee, I absolutely had to squeeze in a ballet class at the Stevenage Arts Club. Those pirouettes felt magical against the background of the soft glow of the dance studio - they just took me back to my university days. That's where it all started, you know. You see, my love for tutus goes way back to my science degree at University, but thatā€™s a story for another day.

By night, I donned my most glamorous outfit - you know, the one with the double-layer pink tulle skirt. I then sashayed over to The Forum Theatre, where I had the absolute pleasure of performing alongside some of Stevenageā€™s other incredible performers - imagine a cabaret! Now thatā€™s my kind of party.

The whole night was truly magical! From the moment I stepped onto that stage, the entire place seemed to burst into life, and I couldn't help but feel like I had played a small part in that magic. But to be honest, darlings, thatā€™s what we do ā€“ we make magic every day. Whether itā€™s on a stage or on a train, we do it all.

As I bid farewell to Stevenage, a small wave of sadness swept over me - the goodbye feeling always sucks. However, there's one thing I'm certain of, Stevenage, you've seen the last of Pink Tutu Sparkles! You won't forget me. But then, who could forget that much tulle and pink? I promise to return soon. After all, we all know: the TutuQueen will never rest until every last soul is wearing pink tulle.

Until then, keep shining! Remember, darlings, you're beautiful, unique, and perfect just the way you are! Now go on out there and take on the world in your most glamorous tutu!

Lots of love, Your TutuQueen, Pink Tutu Sparkles

xx
