The journey to Watford, by train, naturally, was pure joy! My fellow passengers must've been utterly bewildered at the sight of a fuchsia-fabulous vision in a tiered pink tulle tutu, with matching glitter-bomb hair and a handbag that could've doubled as a suitcase for my fabulous self! The Sparkly Stage of Watford
As a seasoned queen, I know it's not always easy finding a gig, particularly in the less glamorous corners of the UK. Watford, bless its cotton socks, had been kind enough to provide me with a charming venue at the local arts centre. Now, it wasn't exactly a flashy West End stage, darling, but hey, you know me - give me a few strategically placed disco balls, some glitter tape, and my own personal spotlight and poof - you've got a stage ready to burst with magic!
I have to say, the crowd in Watford were just divine! Such warmth, such energy, such joy! The whole backstage crew stopped in their tracks and burst into laughter! Now, it wasn't the most glamorous mishap, but let me tell you, there's nothing like a little good-natured chaos to get the party started, eh?

The best thing about touring is the opportunity to discover new places, and Watford, believe it or not, had some pretty amazing things in store! You wouldn't believe the selection of fabulous clothing stores! Seriously, I think I might've stumbled into a unicorn's rainbow closet, it was just that dazzling! You just wouldn't expect it from a seemingly quiet little town, eh?
Watford even boasts a lovely ballet school tucked away on a quaint little street, and quelle surprise, I couldn't resist popping in for a little dance class! After all, a good tutu is nothing without a bit of elegant twirling, and those darling little dancers inspired me to really make those grand jetés sparkle! Let me tell you, a quick ballet class in between drag gigs is the perfect way to channel those creative energies, my dears. It's all about staying nimble and elegant, no matter where you are, don't you think?

Watford, Watford, what a delightful experience! My lovely journey back home on the train was a bit of a blur. Everyone's talking about the Pink Tutu Sparkles sightings on the train now! Honestly, you wouldn't believe the stories...a family stopped to take pictures, a young couple asked me about my tutu history (it was hilarious, believe me) and an elderly lady even confessed to secretly wanting to try one on herself!
