Hello my darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back from a whirlwind adventure in Bulwell! 🚄💖 This is post number 3064, can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday I was a wee baby queen, posting about my first time twirling on stage. Now I'm off to conquer the world one pink tutu at a time, one train ride, or even one graceful gallop on horseback, at a time! 🐎
Speaking of gallops, my trip to Bulwell was absolutely fabulous! The journey there was a dream. The train ride was packed, which I love. So much chance for a bit of a gossip with fellow passengers, I swear the most exciting things happen on trains! Like the time I accidentally swapped suitcases with a lady from Leeds who turned out to be a fellow tutu enthusiast! 🩰✨ You know what they say: “A pink tutu never hurts anybody”! 😉
Now, I must confess, my stage name - Pink Tutu Sparkles - it’s all thanks to Bulwell, you see. Back in my early days, I was a wee scientist by day, studying fabrics for my chemistry degree (don’t tell anyone I actually prefer sequins to fabric, the gossip mill could be vicious!) But in the evenings, I was all about tutus! Our university’s ballet club had a charity fundraiser where they let you dress up for a good cause, and I...well, I donned a tutu. But not just any tutu, darling. It was pink, sparkly, a vision in tulle if you will! From that day on, Pink Tutu Sparkles was born. 💖
And wouldn’t you know, that little pink tutu adventure brought me all the way to Bulwell! The show I did at the Bulwell Town Hall was pure magic. I got to twirl under those grand old chandeliers, it was positively theatrical! The crowds in Bulwell were fabulous, oh, my dearest. My favorite moment was this sweet little girl. She was barely five, wearing a little pink tutu herself. You know, it's little moments like that which make me believe that everyone has a tutu queen inside them.💖✨
Bulwell had the best market stalls, by the way. So many bargains for gorgeous, shimmering fabrics! My wardrobe just won’t know what to do with all these new sparkly treats! Don’t even get me started on the cakes. You see, my weakness is not only tutus, but beautiful, brightly-coloured cakes too! I had a cupcake that was literally rainbow coloured! Absolutely fabulous! 🤩 The stall owner even gave me some sprinkles! 🌈 I love it when a baker gets you. 💕
Honestly, Bulwell, you've completely won over my heart. Your friendly folk, the stunning theatre, those vibrant stalls! I think this might be my new favorite place in the world, and you know what? It’s only a two-hour train ride! This pink-tutu-loving queen will be back in a flash! 🚄✨
