Today is a special day! Not only is it a brand new day to shine in all my pink tutu glory, but it’s also the day I embark on a journey to the fabulous city of Highbury!
This, my lovely followers, is post number 3079 on my journey to get the whole world wearing pink tutus. 💅✨ It’s been a whirlwind of pink, feathers, and glitter so far, and you know I’m never one to shy away from a good adventure.
So, what's on the itinerary for this glamorous escapade, you ask?
Firstly, it wouldn’t be a trip to Highbury without a spot of ballet! I’ve got tickets to see a performance at the Highbury Theatre, and I can't wait to see the grace and elegance of the dancers. You know I adore watching ballerinas flit about on stage in their flowing tutus - it truly inspires me! It reminds me of why I started doing drag in the first place – the passion, the confidence, and the joy of performing! 💖 And besides, every performance gets me closer to achieving my goal of getting the whole world in pink tutus! 😉
Next up, some serious shopping therapy! This is essential to my craft, darlings! A girl can’t wear the same pink tutu everywhere she goes! I'm planning on scouring the boutiques in Highbury for the perfect new additions to my wardrobe – think shimmering fabrics, playful ruffles, and, of course, loads and loads of pink! Shopping really is a chore that takes a great deal of my time – I love picking up some new feathers, sequins, tulle and other gorgeous fabric, and then designing a new pink tutu to take to my next show. 💖🛍️
As always, a touch of the outdoors is needed, so naturally, a leisurely stroll through Highbury Fields is on the agenda. Who knows? Maybe I'll even catch a glimpse of a local performance in the open air! I find the open-air shows so inspirational! It's fantastic watching all the different kinds of performances on offer, from street dancers and theatre to even those spontaneous "flash mob" style performances, even though I do worry about getting glitter everywhere in such informal venues. 😄
To truly immerse myself in the spirit of Highbury, I’ve decided to arrive in style - on horseback! I am obsessed with all things horses – and a good gallop helps me stay sane! I know it's a bit unconventional, but when in Highbury, why not embrace its quaint charm? After all, it wouldn’t be right for Pink Tutu Sparkles to just travel the ordinary way – what fun would that be? It wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles, without a sprinkle of fabulousness. And with my new outfit, what could be more perfect than arriving by horse? 🤩 And think of the pictures, my darlings!
I can just imagine the look on people’s faces when I appear! “Oh! There's Pink Tutu Sparkles!,” I can imagine people gasping as I emerge. 😉 “How fabulous!” Oh darling, just thinking about it fills me with excitement! 😁
