Oh darlings! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, coming at you live from the fabulous city of Manchester! Let me tell you, I've been feeling so giddy, excited and frankly, just bursting with sparkly pink energy all day. It's just one of those days, don't you know? One of those days where the whole world is singing a sparkly tune and even the clouds are tinged with a hint of blush!
But before I tell you all about my grand Manchester adventures, darling, a little chat about the journey here! Honestly, I swear, trains have been so chic lately! There's a real 'new era of travel' vibe going on, with everyone looking super smart and embracing colour. I practically swooned over the array of fabulously flamboyant luggage I saw, and it truly filled me with glee to witness a gentleman in a hot pink linen suit!
Now, I've always had a thing for trains. The romance! The journey! You're whizzing across the land, passing by pretty fields, quaint little towns, and, always for me, those magnificent country estates with their big, sweeping gardens. It's just utterly magical! But my heart truly belongs to travelling by horse! I'm talking a gentle trot through lush countryside, the sun on your face, and the fresh breeze in your hair! Don't get me wrong, trains are fabulous, and the high-speed rail service to Manchester has truly blown my mind - it's a fast journey indeed! But give me a day by horse, in a lovely, breezy countryside setting and I'm in heaven!
So, where was I? Ah yes, the glorious city of Manchester! It truly is a haven for a gal like me, filled with vibrant energy, history and stunning architecture. Plus, you can never go wrong with a decent pie and mash and some traditional beer. (Though personally, a glass of sparkly pink lemonade is my tipple of choice.)
But the main reason for my journey, dear darlings, is a magnificent performance at the gorgeous 'Ballet Beneath the Stars' event. It's a special open-air performance beneath the heavens, with live music, the ballet's graceful and magical moves, and... drumroll please... a stunning show-stopping performance from yours truly, Pink Tutu Sparkles, featuring the most glamorous, pinkest, and utterly enchanting tutu you've ever seen!
And, you know what? I just had the most fantastically fabulous shopping experience, all in the name of the most divine, stunning pink tutu I'll wear tonight! Imagine the most beautiful, soft pink, layered, gauzy, with a shimmering ombre finish, finished with some strategically placed, oh so sparkly sequins! I simply had to have it!
My travels are always an adventure in style. This time I'm rocking a beautiful blush pink linen dress, teamed with some delicate, silver ballerina flats, and naturally, a fluffy pink, bedazzled hair scarf. My suitcase is always crammed with glitter, feather boas, and yes, some extra tulle and fabric, just in case a fellow fashionista needs a last minute makeover.
Let's not forget, my lovely darlings, that this little Pink Tutu Sparkles was once Alex, a Derbyshire girl who loves all things girly, fashion, and pink! My days are spent in a laboratory testing fabric - yes, the very same stuff that goes into those divine pink tutus, no less! But by night, the magic begins and Alex transforms into the magnificent, shimmering, glamorous Pink Tutu Sparkles. I live for that feeling of the glitter on my skin and the adrenaline that kicks in as I take centre stage!
My biggest dream? To make everyone feel a little bit sparkly and spread a little bit of joy by getting everyone to wear a pink tutu. After all, why should all the fun be for just us dancers and drag queens? We can share the sparkle! I believe, truly, that wearing a pink tutu makes everyone feel a little bit more confident, a little bit more joyful, a little bit more ... themselves!
