Bath's a Bubble of Beauty: Post #3154

Oh my darlings! I'm just back from a trip to Bath, and let me tell you, it was utterly divine! Now, you all know my mantra: "Pink tutus for everyone!" and this beautiful city, with its honeyed stone buildings and romantic atmosphere, truly felt like a fairytale setting for a little pink tutu princess like me.

Before we delve into the frothy delights of Bath, a quick shout-out to you lovely lot for all your love on my last post about the glorious Great Yorkshire Show. The weather was divine, and it was so much fun strutting my stuff in the arena. I even taught some sheep a little tutu twirl – a first for me!

Anyway, back to Bath. Now, this is not my first trip to this Georgian gem. In fact, I was there last year with my fellow pink tutu fan, Polly Pocket, and we had the most delightful time shopping for vintage fabrics and antique trinkets. You wouldn't believe the gorgeous fabric I found – perfect for a new sequined number for my next show in Cheltenham!

But this time, it was all about the theatre! And darling, let me tell you, I felt like I was transported right back to the Regency era. The Royal Crescent, those majestic buildings lining the street, had me practically bowing like a 19th-century lady! Imagine my excitement when I found out they'd had a ballet performance in the Pump Room – an absolutely magical experience. Seeing those dancers move with such grace and precision in such a stunning setting – oh, it was pure enchantment!

Speaking of enchantment, you know how much I love horse riding, so naturally, I had to try my hand at a scenic trail ride in the rolling hills outside the city. It was an utterly blissful way to spend an afternoon, just me and the beautiful horse, breathing in the crisp air and taking in the picturesque landscapes. I even caught a glimpse of a majestic deer, its antlers reaching for the heavens – how utterly picturesque!

Naturally, I couldn’t leave Bath without visiting the Thermae Bath Spa. The iconic Roman Baths – I mean, they are simply iconic, darlings. Imagine – hot springs in a beautifully restored Roman temple. Pure historical magic! And of course, a good soak in a warm bath, followed by a little afternoon tea and a delightful walk through the pretty streets. Pure bliss, darling, pure bliss!

As you know, I can't leave any city without popping into some fantastic shops to stock up on new pieces for my pink tutu wardrobe! Oh my darlings, Bath did not disappoint. The boutique with all the vintage lace, and the little shop bursting with costume jewellery… let's just say my luggage came back quite full.

So, what was my favourite moment of the trip, you ask? That's easy. After a day of wandering, the highlight was undoubtedly that incredible dance show in the Pump Room. I actually ended up dancing with the performers at the end. We performed a little number in front of a cheering crowd – it was so empowering, darling. That's what Pink Tutu Sparkles is all about: spreading joy and sparkle, and inspiring everyone to twirl with confidence, no matter what! And I did just that in the beautiful, enchanting city of Bath.

To all you darlings planning a trip, let me give you a little advice: Pack your pink tutus and embrace the romance of Bath! Don’t forget your cameras to capture all those delightful photo-worthy moments. Oh, and perhaps a little lace hat, because I promise, Bath’s got a vintage fairytale waiting for you.

Remember, lovelies, you’re beautiful in pink, and a little bit of sparkle goes a long way! See you next time!
