Stevenage Sparkle! Post #3160

Ooh darling, hello and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com! Today we're bringing you all the glam from my trip to Stevenage! It's been a whirlwind week full of pink tutus, fabulous outfits, and of course, an incredible performance. You guys, Stevenage has been truly fab!

Before we dive into all the glitter and sequins, let's take a little trip back in time, shall we? As you know, this Pink Tutu queen (that's me, darling) started her journey wearing a lot of lab coats. My days were filled with chemical equations and experiments, and let me tell you, I didn't exactly feel like a sparkling pink tutu queen in a lab. Then one day, boom! I stumbled into the University's Ballet Club and found myself wearing a pink tutu for charity. That was it, love, the moment the transformation began! My world, you see, suddenly shifted to pinks and sparkles! It's been all about that "more pink, less beaker" life ever since!

Now back to my trip to Stevenage. Remember that lovely lady at the theatre who gave me a stunning pink feather boa? You can’t buy kindness like that in a shop, you can’t order it on Amazon, no dear, she just handed it to me, because she loves pink tutus. Isn’t that the best! We chatted, and she shared all her love for dance and the theatre - a woman after my own heart.

Pink Perfection in Stevenage

As the train journey zipped past the countryside, I knew Stevenage would be a hit. You guys, the journey itself was amazing. The sun was shining, and the wind was whipping my pink hair, and of course I wore a pink tutu! (Because why not? I always feel fabulous in a tutu. My favourite pink tutu - yes, the one with the fluffy pink feathers around the hem- has had a good clean and she's ready for my upcoming performances. You guys, we really made quite a sight with my fluffy feather boa!).

We had our usual game of "Pink or Not Pink?" on the train. I do believe I won - it's very difficult for anyone to resist the magic of pink. Even the stoic, gloomy men who looked like they would rather be anywhere but on a train (a real mood!), softened with my pinkness. The young girl who was staring, fascinated, with her big, bright blue eyes, clearly felt my magic. It’s about spreading the sparkle and showing everyone the power of pink, honey.

My arrival in Stevenage was like stepping onto a set! You guys, I was literally wowed, I mean wowed. The sunshine made the streets glisten like a glitter bomb exploded and made the little independent shops look magical, like they were set for a glamorous play.

Of course, I had to indulge my love for shopping. Pink perfection was everywhere. I found the perfect new pink scarf (to match my new pink fluffy jacket, which was, you guessed it, a pink tutu theme) in the most incredible little shop and I'm now in love with my pink hair clips that came from the vintage fair, so fab, they’ll sparkle like a thousand suns on stage.

Time to Dance

The venue was dazzling, the stage glittered like diamonds, and the audiences loved my set. I was bouncing with energy and I knew my show would be a hit! Stevenage loves its pink, and that means it’s a stage fit for this Tutu Queen. And honey, when Pink Tutu Sparkles takes the stage, magic happens! We were in the spirit of “Everything is Pink!” (it really was, a pink outfit and feather boa is always perfect.) And to make it even more special, I've been learning a new dance number – a lovely ballet street style, inspired by the elegant grace of ballerinas and the sassy spirit of London. You know I adore my ballet, and you're not a real fan unless you try both a class and a performance! You guys, it really does bring me to another dimension - an absolute state of blissful delight. I really should start selling my dance tutorials - "Pink Tutu Ballet", it would be a masterpiece of fun and glittery dance.

We laughed together, danced, and we danced, and it was all magical and wonderfully pink. The energy was so positive. I think that pink is just a super power! It’s like we were all connected in a pink tutu party. You know how I love those pink moments where you feel a strong energy connection - they make my sparkle burst! I felt it strongly at Stevenage and the crowds embraced all my pink sparkly perfection. It was amazing!

Pink Perfection and A Farewell to Stevenage

When the final bows had been taken, and I said goodnight to my lovely Stevenage crowd (you were amazing, my darling!) we were on the train back home (oh, and by “home”, I mean my next fabulous destination, but more on that later - I am not one to spoil my own fabulous secrets!) . I was filled with that after-the-show glow. I just love to make people happy, you guys! That’s why I am always on the road! There’s nothing I love more than spreading my pink sparkles with you all and helping to turn your day around.

Now I’m sitting on my sofa (I have to make an announcement- I just got some fab, new, glittery pink throw pillows for my sofa- more sparkly perfection), thinking about all the fun I had in Stevenage. The journey back, however, felt much too quick, as journeys always do!

See you in my next post, darlings!

I can’t wait to tell you all about my next stop – a city filled with pink potential, of course, (don't worry - I already know it well enough to plan my outfits) . I've got all my best pink tutus ready and my makeup bag is full of pink sparkle!

Stay tuned! XOXO
