Harrogate, darling! Post #3183

Oh, Harrogate, you're a real charmer! The air here is crisp and fresh, like a bite of freshly baked apple pie. And the streets are positively brimming with loveliness, cobblestone paths and charming shops making you feel like you've stepped back in time. It's the perfect setting for a little pink tutu magic, wouldn't you agree?

This is my third time performing in Harrogate, and every time, I find myself completely enchanted. It's such a welcoming place, with a lovely, old-fashioned, yet sophisticated air about it. Honestly, it makes me feel like a vintage pin-up in a fairytale.

Speaking of enchanting, I can't get over the fact that this tour has included so much horseback riding. I know, it's a bit off-script for a tutu-clad queen like me, but there's something incredibly liberating about galloping through fields in a frilly pink number. Imagine the picture! A touch of whimsy and pure delight, right there on the rolling green hills. Honestly, it feels like I'm a princess on a mission to spread pink sparkle across the land.

And talking about missions, this trip has been all about spreading the love and joy of tutus. I performed in a variety of locations this time – from the local fairground (oh, those churros!), to a fancy private garden party. Honestly, each performance brought me such immense joy! I love seeing people's faces light up when I enter the stage, a swirl of pink and sequins radiating a kaleidoscope of happiness. It's a reminder that life, darling, should always be filled with a sprinkle of sparkle.

Of course, I can't talk about a trip to Harrogate without mentioning the incredible shopping. Oh, the dresses! And the accessories! And don't even get me started on the shoes. It's a treasure trove for a tutu-obsessed queen like me, filled with delicate lace, vintage velvet, and exquisite jewellery. Let's just say I left with more than a few extra pounds of new additions to my wardrobe – a queen needs her gear!

Now, it’s time to head back home to my Derbyshire roots. I’ll be reflecting on this journey with a cup of tea (don't even get me started on Yorkshire tea - the finest in the whole world!), perhaps sketching new design ideas for a new sparkly tutu creation for my next performance.

Until next time, my lovelies, remember to embrace the joy, spread the pink sparkle, and never, ever let anyone tell you that wearing a pink tutu isn't a perfectly valid life choice!

Love always, Pink Tutu Sparkles (Alex)
