Hello, darlings! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Queen, back with another fabulous blog post! This is number 3304, can you believe it? I feel like I've been sharing my fabulous adventures with you all forever! 💖
Today, I'm in the lovely little town of Abingdon, a place so charming, it makes even my pink tutu blush! I've been on the road, you see, touring my sparkly performances across the countryside. It's a busy life, darling, but wouldn't have it any other way!
Now, you know I adore a bit of train travel. Something about those big windows, whizzing past fields, and that distinctive, almost nostalgic whistle... It just gets me feeling ready to twirl and sparkle. Of course, I couldn't arrive without my trusty travel companion - my beloved pink suitcase! Inside, it's a veritable explosion of tutus, sequins, and all things fabulous. Because darling, every trip is an opportunity to bring a touch of pink-tutu magic wherever I go. ✨
Abingdon welcomed me with open arms. I always say, the people in these little towns are just so genuinely delightful. And, to my absolute joy, a friendly chap in a shop just down the street complimented my pink feather boa! You just know a day is going to be good when you're greeted with such sparkly approval! 🌟
Oh, and did I mention the absolutely breathtaking church just across the road? I had to pop in for a peek. Those stained-glass windows - absolutely stunning! I even spotted a bit of pink peeking out from behind the rows of pews. You know I had to take a little twirl in the aisle! ⛪️💃
As the afternoon settled, I decided to take a stroll down Abingdon's High Street, just soaking up the atmosphere. Such quaint little shops and cafes! I did indulge in a slice of the most gorgeous-looking Victoria sponge, pink icing, of course, from the cutest tea room, all chintz and china. My sweet tooth was certainly well catered to. 🍰🧁
And wouldn't you know it, I spotted a vintage costume shop just as I was leaving! Now, I don't usually say this, but it was just full of wonderful bits and bobs that would look perfect with a pink tutu. Imagine my delight! I had to get myself a couple of little bits, a bit of a sparkly broach and a fantastic vintage hair bow with some sequins on.
Speaking of which, I am off to try out my latest tutu purchase! This one has layers and layers of tulle and sparkles like the night sky! It's an absolute show-stopper, darlings, and perfect for tonight's performance at the local theatre! 💫
I must confess, the excitement is bubbling over! The stage is set, the lighting is ready, and I can't wait to bring a touch of pink tutu magic to Abingdon! I am so excited to share my performance with you all. So if you're in the area, do drop by and say hello!
