It's the perfect spot for this queen, honestly. Let me tell you, getting here by train is just part of the experience, my dears. The chug-chugging journey, the friendly chatter with fellow passengers (a couple even gasped at my sparkly pink luggage!), and the sunshine filtering through the window... just divine! You see, a queen's gotta arrive in style, even if it's by train, because who's going to take their tutu travelling without a dash of glamour?
The hotel I'm staying in? Let's just say it’s dripping with Victorian grandeur, and the owner was positively charmed by my entrance – I twirled through the lobby like a sugary-sweet confection, and the staff giggled with delight! "I'm bringing sunshine to the seaside," I quipped, adjusting my magnificent pink tutu (a masterpiece I snagged at a vintage shop in Derby, my dears!) before strutting to my room.

Tonight, I'm headlining a drag showcase at the Pavilion! It’s a grand old hall right on the beach, with the sea air rolling in through the windows. Perfect for my set, my dears! We'll be bursting with glitter and feathers, a proper "Tutu Queen's Seaside Jamboree!" And it's all for charity! We're raising money to fund the town's youth theatre program - how's that for a bit of positive sparkle, eh?
But that's not all, darling! It’s the town's "Carnival Week", a seaside extravaganza brimming with stalls, sideshows, and just the right amount of pink for a true Pink Tutu Sparkles delight! Imagine the scene: Ferris wheels against a cloudless sky, sweet-smelling candy floss and churros (you just HAVE to try the churros in Broadstairs! They're divine!), the air filled with laughter and music... it’s the kind of setting that inspires me, darling. It’s all so colourful, so full of life.
I mean, I can’t resist a good carnival ride! That thrill of soaring high above the bustling crowd, a gentle breeze ruffling my feathers... pure bliss!
Speaking of feathers, darling, we have to talk about my new "Seashell Surprise" number! It’s my latest creation, a dazzling ensemble that nods to the beautiful shells we found on the beach. It's a riot of pink, blue, and silver, all topped with a beautiful headdress that my friend Lily made especially for the show! Oh, Lily! She's an absolute treasure. A talented designer, she's made me some absolutely fabulous tutus, darling. Always ready to give a helping hand with a glue stick and a touch of glitter!
After the performance, we're all headed down to the beach, just in time for the firework display. Imagine it: my pink tutu shimmering in the moonlight, the fireworks painting the sky in breathtaking hues… it’s going to be magical, darling!
