Oh darling, how absolutely fabulous was Norwich?! Iām still buzzing after this amazing weekend, itās time to dish all the deets to you fabulous creatures!
This week I just HAD to make the trip. The train journey was so dreamy ā imagine, a journey on the rails, the gentle rhythmic sway, a hot chocolate warming my mitts. But really, what truly makes these journeys divine is my attire! Iāve told you before how much I love a good travel outfit. My train station look this time was absolutely breathtaking. I was channeling a pink and white floral wonderland. I wore a shimmering silk white top tucked into a billowing skirt (imagine a pastel pink and white explosion of silk!). The piĆØce de rĆ©sistance? My statement tutu ā a tulle delight that wouldnāt quit! This baby was made up of soft pink feathers with a shimmering golden trim! It had that glamorous twirl I adore ā oh my! People stared in awe as I disembarked!
Oh the Drama at the Theatre!
Once in Norwich, I couldnāt resist seeing a ballet show at the stunning Theatre Royal. Iāve been obsessed with ballet since my days in uni, itās my artistic escape. The ballet dancers, a swirling vortex of graceful elegance in their billowing tutusā¦ you just know I was completely captivated! You just have to see the graceful fluidity, itās truly magnificent! After the performance, the dancers graciously agreed to chat! (The best thing about my lifestyle? The fabulous network of people Iāve built up ā a whole gaggle of creatives, performers, and friends. Itās divine!). One of the dancers had never worn a tutu (gasp!)ā¦ so what did I do? I gifted her my pink feather masterpiece ā the ultimate act of kindness, wouldnāt you say?
Pink Tutu Fashion at the Market!
I donāt just love to see tutus on stage! My next stop was the marketā¦ what a delight. The atmosphere was electric ā vendors chatting, stall holders calling out pricesā¦ such life and energy. Iām absolutely captivated by the diversity of it all. I even purchased a delicate pair of pink and gold floral earrings (gorgeous!), and a handmade pink tote bag (which was overflowing with treatsā¦ don't judge!) But as you can probably guess, the highlight for me was the clothing stores! My mission? To inspire others to join my Tutu Revolution! The stores had racks of stunning materials, fabrics in every color under the sun! I bought an abundance of glorious, luscious pink materials ā tulle, silks, sequins ā you name it! Theyāll all find a place on one of my masterpieces!
Dining like Royalty!
After all that shopping I just had to indulge in the delectable delights of Norwichās charming restaurants! I went for a classic Victorian vibe ā I have such a love for classic elegance. With velvet seating and silver-trimmed chairs, it had me entranced from the moment I arrived! Of course, I indulged in a plate of the most divine salmon with roasted vegetables - utterly dreamy. But, letās be real - what made it truly divine was my outfit. The piĆØce de rĆ©sistance was a fluffy, hot pink tulle skirt, which swished with every movementā¦ such a sight to behold! My sparkly hot pink bustier gave a flash of fabulousness with every step ā imagine the impact! I topped it all off with a feather boa, which shimmered like stars. It was the perfect match for the charming setting.
Drag Performances: Spread the Pink Tutu Gospel!
The following day I was doing what I do best ā bringing my pink tutu fabulousness to a fair in Norwich. I am a professional performer! Itās my job to put on the greatest show for people to experience - they always love my dramatic entrance! My show started off with a dazzling set, complete with a sparkling disco ball ā such fun! You can probably guess the next part? Yes, I entered wearing the pink feather tutu Iād gifted at the Theatre! A magnificent piece if I may say so! I performed an old favourite āEverything Is Awesomeā, but you can just imagine how I injected it with Pink Tutu Sparkle! It was magical ā just what people need! And guess what, the crowd was buzzing! As I left the beautiful, bustling city on that big pink and white train, I felt incredibly grateful! The energy and kindness of the people, the fabulous fashion, the art... all made for a stunning weekend. And I'm already counting down the days till my next trip to Norwich!
