Today, I'm on a high, I’m practically skipping to Rochester! It's a day trip filled with sparkles, floral arrangements, and a chance to spread the pink tutu gospel. It’s time to turn up the volume on this glorious adventure – let’s go!
Travel Chic
We're heading to the North, folks! I took the train, of course. I couldn't possibly squeeze into a car with my glorious pink sequined outfit and giant tulle-puff train. Imagine the crushing disappointment if I had a single wrinkle on my tutu? It’s just not a risk I’m willing to take! The train is such a fabulously elegant way to travel; all the drama without the traffic chaos. And, don’t even get me started on how fantastically chic train stations are for snapping the perfect Insta-worthy #tutuoutfit picture!
I wore my blush-pink, tiered, full-length tutu for this trip. It twirled beautifully as I walked through the station. I was truly the ballerina-queen, attracting admiring glances and little waves from passersby! This is the pink tutu magic working its magic!
Rochester Calling
Rochester, it seems, is absolutely in love with roses. They’re absolutely everywhere! The town centre was buzzing with the scent of a million blossoms, and the colours are gorgeous! The city seems like the ideal setting for a fairytale-inspired ballet show, and I can already feel myself in a grand, rosy-themed tutu with some matching pink feathered wings. We might just need to put this together in the future!

No trip to a new town is complete without a bit of ballet! My mission today? To find the most delightful and dazzling dance studio. There is nothing I enjoy more than feeling the graceful, twirling power of a perfect plié and unleashing the ballerina within. I’m aiming for elegance and flow!

Honestly, ballet and drag? Two sides of the same fabulous coin, really! Both involve taking inspiration, embracing performance art, and expressing yourself. It’s all about owning that stage, embracing the spotlight, and knowing exactly who you are! I mean, imagine a world without tutus? It just wouldn’t be right, would it?
Remember my first tutu moment? My university days were all about studying and laboratory tests... oh, the monotony of science! But then, there was the ballet club, with their annual charity fundraising event. We were having a little competition with our college to raise funds and I'm going to be completely honest with you, there was something just electrifying about the thrill of slipping into that pale pink tulle skirt, all floaty and dramatic. That first twirl, it ignited a spark! And my obsession with the magnificent world of pink tutus, from classic tutus to the more quirky and daring creations, well... it all started there!
Now I use the scientific expertise I learned at university by testing fabric samples every day... it's actually a great fit for a tutu-obsessed performer like me! From scientific analysis to stage presence, I use both sides of my persona to explore this magical world of creativity and perform every evening.
