Darlings! Oh my word! You simply won't believe the adventure I've just had in the City of Lights! My first trip to Paris, and it was utterly divine. My little pink heart is bursting with joy and excitement, so let me tell you all about it!
As you know, my dear followers, I simply adore travelling by train. The rhythmic clatter of the wheels, the rolling countryside rushing past, and the anticipation of arriving in a brand new city, itâs utterly magical! This trip was no different, though the Eurostar from London was a bit crowded with all those Christmas shoppers!
Anyway, upon arrival in Paris, the first thing I did (after checking into a rather chic hotel in the Marais, naturally) was find a tiny little cafe and indulge in the most glorious cafĂ© au lait, served with a fluffy croissant. Divine! Afterwards, I popped into a charming boutique that looked like itâd stepped right out of a fairy tale, and purchased a fabulous pair of pink ballet flats to complete my travel wardrobe! Because darling, a pink tutu simply demands a little bit of pink footwear!
My first evening in Paris, I saw the most breathtaking ballet performance at the Palais Garnier. It was a production of âSwan Lake,â and the ballerina playing Odette was absolutely incredible! I practically cried at the beauty of it all. Afterwards, I sashayed down the Champs-ĂlysĂ©es feeling truly inspired.
Now, as a queen of fashion and lover of all things pink and glittery, I couldn't leave Paris without indulging in some serious shopping. And I found the most gorgeous pink tutu in the world at a tiny little boutique tucked away in a backstreet. It was shimmering with hundreds of little pink crystals and just called to me, so naturally, I had to bring it home!
The next day was a pure delight â I visited the MusĂ©e dâOrsay and lost myself in the beauty of Impressionist art. I love Monet, Renoir and Degas so much. Their work inspires me every day and fills me with such an appreciation for colour, beauty and artistry. Of course, I had to recreate a few poses with my pink tutu by their masterpieces, so youâll find those snaps on Instagram, darling!
On my final day in Paris, I indulged in a traditional French lunch of creamy Brie cheese, crispy baguette and a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir. It was all very "La vie en rose," wouldnât you agree? Afterwards, I wandered through the Louvre, mesmerised by the sheer size and artistry of this incredible museum. Of course, I posed with Mona Lisa, wouldnât be a proper Parisian visit without it, would it?
Finally, as the sun set over Paris, casting a warm glow over the city, I reflected on my amazing trip. It was truly a whirlwind of pink perfection! The food, the culture, the sights and of course, my new tutu! Paris truly has it all.
I will absolutely be back to this enchanting city. But for now, itâs back to Derbyshire for me! And of course, I'll be performing my latest act at a local village hall tonight. Nothing beats a good, old-fashioned drag performance to get everyone dancing, darlings!

Darling, do you ever have those days where you wake up and you feel a littleâŠblah? Well, let me tell you, this is not one of those days! I've got the biggest grin on my face because tonight is performance night! And guess what? I've just picked up my new tutu from the dry cleaner and she's looking absolutely exquisite! Oh, itâs pure pink perfection.
But before we delve into the delights of tonight's performance, darling, allow me to share my most recent and very important fashion find! This time it's not a pink tutu (although you know I'm always on the hunt for those), but a beautiful pair of sparkling pink trainers! Yes, my darlings, trainers. You heard right! I mean, think of it - perfect for all those times when I need to strut my stuff on stage while dancing like nobodyâs watching! They're actually really comfortable, and the pink glitter gives just a touch of Pink Tutu Sparkles magic, don't you think?
Now, you might be wondering, âPink Tutu, how does a queen of elegance rock trainers?â Well darling, it's all about the art of accessorising! They go perfectly with my current favourite pair of skinny jeans (with that fabulous shredded look), and my pink silk scarf. And when it comes to sequins, I've just been experimenting with different shades of pink! A little shimmer, darling, is always good, but you gotta match it with the outfit! It's a skill, my love, and Pink Tutu Sparkles is here to guide you.
Tonight's show is going to be incredible! It's the local community hall, the same venue I performed in a few weeks ago, and it's always a fabulous crowd! I can already imagine their faces when I twirl onto stage, twirling in my gorgeous, freshly-cleaned tutu and showing off my new glittery shoes. I'm thinking of opening with my rendition of âPink Panther,â followed by some sassy Bollywood moves to a catchy number from the latest Bollywood hit! Maybe Iâll even include a little ballet sequence? Yes, darling, we may see Pink Tutu Sparkles taking centre stage!
