Now, I'm sure you're all wondering how I ended up in this delightful corner of Wales. Well, as always, it involved a fair bit of fabulousness, a train journey that took me right through the heart of the countryside, and of course, a brand new pink tutu, a sparkly number that's all ready for my show tonight!
You see, my dear readers, my mission is clear – to spread the pink tutu love far and wide! It's a quest that takes me from bustling city streets to quaint country towns, and everything in between. I’ve always loved the colour pink, and since that day at university when I first slipped into a pink tutu, well, the rest is history!
I'm not just spreading the love for pink tutus though. I'm also sharing my passion for ballet, which, you might be surprised to hear, started long before I put on my first tutu.
For years, even as I was pursuing my science degree (yes, you read that right!), ballet was a part of my life. You know, sometimes I'm asked by curious onlookers how a science-minded person like myself became a tutu-wearing drag queen. But you see, life isn't just about black and white, is it? It's a symphony of colour, just like a beautifully crafted ballet costume! 💖
While my days are filled with fabric testing in the lab (my secret scientific life, darling! 😉 ), my nights come alive on the stage, showcasing my sassy style and celebrating the joy of movement. From vibrant theatrical performances to the playful fun of ballet street, I adore every minute of it. It's like having two separate lives – one world of meticulous lab work, and the other, filled with the sparkly wonder of my stage persona!
And here in Bangor, oh, darling, it’s a place that has the most magical mix of charm and sophistication. I've been exploring all the shops, scooping up some beautiful vintage pieces for my wardrobe (always gotta keep that Pink Tutu Sparkles look fresh!). There's so much creativity in the air, which is just what this travelling tutu queen loves!
I know, I know, you're dying to hear all about my show! Let's just say the audience was as fabulous as my pink tutu! You should've seen their smiles! I can’t tell you all about it yet, though - gotta leave some sparkle for those who come along to see me! 🤫
Oh, I can't forget to mention the delicious food. You see, even in the midst of all the sequins and sparkles, a girl's gotta eat! And in Bangor, oh darling, let me tell you, there’s some truly delightful fare. Think creamy Welsh cakes, fresh scones with lashings of clotted cream and tea - just delightful. It's certainly put me in a very rosy mood, if you catch my drift! 😜
