This time, I’ve just had the most magical weekend in the beautiful city of Aberdeen! It’s been quite a journey, and as always, I want to share every glittery detail with you.
Blog Post #3893: A Pink-tastic Adventure Begins!
You know, sometimes you just feel like a little change, a little adventure. My Derbyshire roots are lovely and all, but a girl needs a bit of sea air now and again. So, I packed up my pink suitcase (it has its own miniature sequined tutu, just for you, travel weary, delicate tutus) and jumped on a train, because honestly, what could be more chic than whizzing across the countryside in a plush carriage? This train was a total dream – imagine scarlet velvet seats, silver serving trolleys, and views of rolling fields that would make a fashion magazine blush.
Arriving in Aberdeen, the first thing I noticed was the scent - that wonderful, salty air. It immediately felt like a place ready for a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles show!
Tutus in the Scottish Sunshine!
And, oh my goodness, the weather! We're talking blue skies, sunshine and...wait for it...a breeze that somehow managed to be both playful and breezy – absolutely perfect for showcasing this incredible tulle creation. Now, I don't want to brag, but this new tutu is a real masterpiece! Imagine, my lovelies, layers and layers of the most vibrant pink you ever did see. It twirled and flowed like a shimmering cloud and caught every sunbeam with pure delight.
Of course, I wasn't going to let Aberdeen down! So I popped into my trusty local "boutique" – you know, one of those fabulously glamorous, little shops you find down quaint streets – and picked up a few pieces to elevate my look. I found this beautiful ivory blouse with intricate lace detail. Just the touch of classic elegance a Pink Tutu Sparkle needs. Then, because a girl has to be prepared for all types of adventures, I got myself a sparkly pink cardigan - perfect for layering for the chilly Aberdeen nights.
The Magic of Aberdeen!
Now, listen up darlings, you just HAVE to experience a weekend in Aberdeen! The city is overflowing with charm, breathtaking coastline views, and enough cobbled streets to satisfy even the most insatiable love for history and architecture. The local architecture is like a postcard! Just picture these majestic buildings with beautiful stone work and ornate details. Absolutely perfect to have a dramatic pink tutu twirling in front of, don’t you think?
There were bustling cafes and shops full of unique Scottish crafts. Everywhere I looked, something magical was catching my eye! From the little gift shops brimming with Highland treasures to the cute bookshops with their floor-to-ceiling shelves. The heart of the city just beats with an energy that’s truly special.
Pink Tutu Sparkles, On Stage!
Speaking of magic, I managed to snag a performing spot at a fab, friendly little theatre. Oh, it was a right proper dream. It was an intimate setting, but I still made sure to rock my most spectacular Pink Tutu look! It was a delightful little show – a mix of cabaret, singing, and ballet moves, all designed to spread a bit of Pink Tutu magic, of course. I love that these smaller venues give me the chance to get up close and personal with the crowd. And it’s all part of the joy of touring; you never know where you're going to end up next.
From Balmoral to the Ballet!
Did you know Aberdeen is less than an hour’s drive from Balmoral? How gorgeous! We took a little trip up there, just to experience that royal Scottish magic. The rolling green hills, the breath-taking castle, all of it just...made my heart sing. And of course, I found time to enjoy the ballet show! A classic Tchaikovsky ballet at a venue so exquisite I was absolutely floored. It was an elegant, refined, almost otherworldly experience. A perfect blend of music, grace, and captivating artistry that I’ll always cherish.

My weekend in Aberdeen was full of pink, twirling, and delightful experiences, but most importantly, it was a reminder of how far the Pink Tutu Sparkle magic can travel. Each time I journey out to a new place, I get the opportunity to share a little of what makes Pink Tutu Sparkle, well… Pink Tutu Sparkle!
