Now, you all know how much I adore a good train journey. It's the perfect time to put on my most fabulous pink outfit, maybe even a touch of sparkle eyeshadow, and watch the world go by through the window. And yes, dear readers, I wore my lucky pink tutu - a fluffy, shimmering delight - because when you're a queen, every day is a celebration, isn't it? 👑
Croydon, my darlings, is buzzing with energy. The streets were full of happy faces and the air was thick with the excitement of the upcoming performance. And speaking of excitement, my show was at The Little Theatre, a charming, old-school venue tucked away in a quiet corner of town. The stage was lit up in pink (because, hello, what else?!), and I could feel the energy building as I took my final bows. 🥰
This show was a special one, featuring my new ballet-inspired routine that combines my love for dance with the glitz and glamour of drag. I added some new flourishes - a pirouette here, a grand jeté there, all executed with my signature flamboyant flair, of course! 😉 It was such a blast, seeing the audience erupt in cheers, especially when I took a cheeky twirl in my pink tutu! 💕
Oh, before I forget, the audience went wild for my "Pink Tutu" dance, my signature move which involves a playful interaction with my fans and...well, a lot of pink twirling! 😂
I can’t thank Croydon enough for the warm welcome! It’s truly an inspiration to see the passion for the arts in such a vibrant place. As for me, darling, my week wasn't just about performing. It was also about discovering all the hidden gems of this fantastic town. We spent some time in Croydon's incredible Boxpark, where I bought a little something special for my next outfit. The local boutiques, darling, are absolute heaven - so many pink-hued delights! 🎀 And after all the excitement, I treated myself to a delectable high tea at The Old Town Hall – a lovely, vintage building brimming with character and charm. It's always so important to unwind after a busy show! 😌
I have to confess, Croydon has a real special place in my heart now. It's filled with so much creativity, vibrancy, and above all, the kind of friendly energy that makes you want to twirl and sing at the top of your lungs! 💃 And yes, my darlings, I absolutely did a little dance on my way to the station - what else could I do, when the pink tutu bug has bitten?!
