I was practically skipping along the platforms at Ruislip Manor station (such a charming name!), a symphony of sparkles and sequins in my hot pink tulle dream, feeling like a true princess. I'm embracing the railways this week, my dears, it's just so much more elegant than a dreary bus. I have a strong suspicion a pink tutu just doesn't quite cut it on public transport, especially if the driver has had a bad breakfast! (I wouldn't want to tempt fate).
This trip, it's all about the ballet. My darlings, you wouldn't believe the new silk taffeta ballet skirt I snagged for a song in Camden. Swoon Such a pretty blush pink! I absolutely must wear it for this evening's performance, and then, naturally, I shall waltz off to the local ballet class afterwards. One can never have too much dancing, right? It’s the perfect blend of beauty and fitness!
