Arnold - Post #4051: The Tutu Took Me To Arnold!

Hello darlings! It’s your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, writing to you from the lovely town of Arnold, Nottinghamshire! Can you believe it, darlings? This travelling tutu queen has finally made it to this charming little place, all thanks to a wonderful gig at the local theatre. And let me tell you, it was a smash!

As you all know, I’m a firm believer in spreading the pink tutu love, and let me tell you, the people of Arnold embraced it with open arms! The audience was simply delightful. Such warm and friendly faces, and all decked out in their finest threads – you could just feel the festive spirit in the air. They cheered and roared as I sashayed and shimmied, a real whirlwind of pink and glitter on that stage. I even had a little boy dressed as a prince come up and give me a big hug. My heart, it almost burst with happiness.

You might be thinking, "Alex, how did you get to Arnold?" Well darlings, let me tell you all about it! After a thrillingly scenic train journey from Derbyshire – a glorious ride through rolling hills and quaint little villages, I might add – I arrived in the vibrant, bustling centre of Arnold, ready to spread some sparkle.

Now, if there’s one thing I love, it’s a good shopping spree, and Arnold did not disappoint. So much vintage glamour to discover! I found the most divine little shop filled with all sorts of retro treasures and fabulous frocks – I simply had to indulge! Of course, my new purchase will go perfectly with my pink tutu for my next performance - perhaps I'll make it the centrepiece of my outfit. What do you think? I might post a preview of it on Instagram for your lovely faces. Let me know what you think.

This town, with its lovely cobbled streets and quaint little tea rooms, just begs to be explored. After all, what’s a pink tutu queen without a good dose of afternoon tea, wouldn’t you say? Oh, the scones were simply divine, and I simply couldn’t resist a delightful cup of Earl Grey with a little pink sugar, naturally.

Speaking of tea, my evening was nothing short of a whimsical wonderland! The Arnold Theatre, all twinkling lights and a beautiful grand piano, played host to my fabulous show. The people of Arnold came out in force to celebrate and it felt absolutely electric. It’s these moments that make everything worthwhile, you know? Just seeing the faces light up with joy as I twirled and spun, radiating pink energy like a glittering ray of sunshine – oh, it's pure magic, darlings.

Did you know that I studied science before venturing into the world of drag? Yeah, I know, it’s a bit of a surprise, isn’t it? Who knew a pink tutu queen would also have a BSc? Well, in fact, my love for science helped me find my perfect calling as a scientist! Now, you might be thinking, how can you be a scientist AND a drag queen? Let me explain.

By day, you’ll find me tucked away in a lab, testing fabrics and ensuring our clothes are up to the highest quality, because a pink tutu deserves the best, you know! And by night, well, the magic truly begins.

I can't deny that studying science and dressing as a drag queen helped me be the person I am today! And my favourite thing in the whole wide world is sharing the joys of pink tutus with everyone around.

Now, you're probably wondering: where am I off to next? Oh darlings, I have a wonderful schedule all lined up - and wouldn't you just know it? My next stop is going to be another glorious town – somewhere where I can unleash a sprinkle of pink glitter and a whole lot of sparkle! I can’t tell you exactly where, but it's going to be a treat!

For those of you joining me on this pink tutu adventure, keep those lovely eyes peeled on my blog - Pink-Tutu.com - to see where my sparkly shoes are going to take me next! You wouldn’t want to miss the excitement, would you? Until then, keep shimmering, darlings! And never forget to embrace your inner pink tutu queen!

Pink Tutu Sparkles
