Hello my darlings! It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with you again for another fabulous instalment in my life as a drag queen. As you know, I’m all about spreading the joy of pink tutus across the globe! 🌎💖 And, to be perfectly honest, Coalville has never looked this good! 😉
This week, I’m thrilled to share a little slice of life from the road with you lovelies. It's blog post number 4052 - I never thought I’d hit those numbers when I started this whole pink tutu thing. It all began as a bit of fun while I was doing a science degree, you know? There I was, a student with a serious love for ballet and a secret penchant for sparkles. One day, I ended up at a charity event trying on a tutu and the rest, as they say, is history! ✨ I’m Alex by day - a scientist, whizzing around a lab, testing the texture and durability of fabrics (talk about glamorous, huh?). Then the clock strikes, the lights dim and Pink Tutu Sparkles takes over. 🎤
Speaking of the road, did you know that I have a little confession to make? Trains are my absolute favourite way to travel, my loves! They allow me to slip away into a world of fantasy, to relax, admire the scenery, and of course, jot down all my fab blog ideas. It's a far cry from a crowded plane or the claustrophobia of being packed in a car! 🚂 And if I really want to feel the wind in my tutu, I jump on horseback - cantering across the English countryside is truly the stuff of dreams. 🐎
And here’s where you come in! 💖 Have you always wanted to embrace the twirl, the shimmer, the sheer delightful fabulousness of a pink tutu? I dare you to! My motto is, “There’s a pink tutu for everyone.” (Well, apart from the horses - but they’ve already got fabulous mane styles). And as a fellow traveller on this path of style and self-expression, I want to encourage you to break free and try it. Just picture yourself… graceful, joyful, a symphony of movement, radiating that unforgettable Pink Tutu Sparkles energy! 💃
But let’s talk Coalville for a second! I must say, the town has completely won me over with its warm, friendly spirit, not to mention the gorgeous green spaces where I could see myself gliding through in my latest design, a flowing lavender tutu paired with silver heels and shimmering fairy wings, of course! The crowd here in Coalville are truly a sight for sore eyes! They’re loving the “sparkle” in every performance. 💖 You know me, I always have a special surprise planned for my audience – you wouldn't expect me to do a simple routine, would you? Tonight, I’ve incorporated some impressive, crowd-pleasing ballet moves from my days in the university ballet club, a touch of contemporary dance (all that rigorous training really pays off!) and a few steps from some of my favourite West End musicals (what’s life without a touch of Broadway, eh?) I always try to bring a little something special, a dash of something unforgettable for everyone who joins me. 🩰
And of course, it’s never just the performance that makes an evening a blast, but the company you keep. I met this delightful bunch of lovely ladies, all sporting stunning frocks - my dear, some of the fashion trends are looking absolutely scrumptious, we must start a movement of chic pink tutus here. And one of the sweetest little boys - he was absolutely smitten by my “Tutu Time” routine, which is all about unleashing that inner ballerina in each and every one of us! His eyes sparkled, just like mine, I do hope he embraces that tutu dream when he grows up! 💕
I love to give my followers a peek into the fun-filled chaos of a Pink Tutu Sparkles tour. Sometimes it’s about those stunning shows - other times, it's all about that unique journey that brings us there! Today, my travels took me to an artsy boutique, where I discovered a few adorable items. I couldn't resist a bright pink “Tutu Queen” t-shirt with a sequined tutu emblazoned on the front. That’s going to be my signature on my latest pink tutu - “Tutu Queen.” Of course, I couldn’t leave without a few sparkly accessories. After all, every queen needs her crown and, in my case, the perfect tutu accessory. 😉 And to add a touch of dramatic flair to my showstopping outfits? Let’s just say I’ve picked up a feather boa, so flamboyant you wouldn’t believe it! I already have my eye on the perfect design to showcase them with. The Coalville public had better be prepared for a dazzling spectacle! ✨
Tomorrow, my lovely friends, my pink tutu and I will be venturing to… Well, let’s just say the magic never stops and a secret pink tutu destination always calls for some special fun. 😉 Stay tuned, my sweethearts!
