Darlings,
I'm so excited! I'm on the train to Denton. The journey itself is a joy. There's something about travelling by train that feels so glamorous. I've got my favourite fluffy pink hat and matching handbag - of course, they go perfectly with my new pink-and-sparkly tutu. You know how much I love tutus, darlings! And I've even packed some ballet shoes. I'm going to make a little detour into town and visit that gorgeous boutique I found online, filled with stunning fabrics, ready-made garments, and heavenly embroidery! Oh, the outfits I'm dreaming up already! It will definitely provide some fantastic new additions to my wardrobe!
But it's Denton itself I'm truly buzzing about. There’s an incredible stage set up in the market square – it looks so dramatic against the cobblestone. It’s a fairground full of traditional carousels, bouncy castles, and shooting games with big teddy bears. My goodness, how divine is that!
I'm performing at the market this weekend for a grand family fair. Imagine! It’s gonna be my kind of party – lots of music, laughter, and dazzling pink! Of course, I’ll have to take photos – with a cheeky sprinkle of glitter, darling, so be prepared for the Insta post explosion!
I’ve even thought up some fun interactive games!
Games! The Pink Tutu Challenge!
Can you guess why I’m called “Pink Tutu Sparkles?” It’s because pink is just a part of my spirit, my love of performing, my love for the ballet and…tutustastic designs! I want to spread the love of the pink tutu! I'll be doing a special "Pink Tutu Challenge." A real interactive dance and fashion challenge for you lot.
This weekend in Denton, I’m aiming to get every single person at the fair sporting a pink tutu! My own private mini "pink revolution". Think of the pictures! It’ll be tutu-tastic! My aim? Pure chaos and pure joy.
Who are those Pink Tutu Sparkles anyway?
Since you’re all in the mood to get to know your queen of pink and sparkly tutus a bit better...here’s a little tale of me:
Back in Derbyshire, life was simple: science, labs, and ballet. By day, I was a scientist, working my magic with fabrics – literally, darlings! Studying at university was a bit of a whirl. The labs were so serious, and then bam, there I was in a tutu! Ballet was my escape. It brought so much joy and glitter. I felt like I could twirl my way right into the heart of the rainbow.
And then it happened! A big university charity event - an exciting masquerade ball to raise funds. I knew I wanted to go as something out of the ordinary, to wear something completely outrageous – so I put on this glorious pink tutu! I didn't have to think twice - I just felt incredible. That moment transformed me – it sparked the very first tiny seed of the Pink Tutu Sparkles we know and love. It ignited something magical within me and brought that sassy pink sparkle to the forefront!
But it took a few years and a little self-discovery journey to realize the real me! I took the leap and threw myself into the crazy world of drag – and never looked back. It felt amazing.
I knew that I wanted to create something that captured the sheer delight of those shimmering tutus and the excitement of a twirling, glitter-soaked adventure – something that could spread a little magic wherever I go! I just had this incredible, insatiable desire to bring those pink tutus to the world!
It hasn’t been easy, darling. The path has been a bit wobbly at times. It’s no walk in the park wearing all that makeup and hair! There’s always a risk you could trip and fall flat on your face. It takes strength, grace, and most importantly - sparkle to shine! And my, it can get very tiring!
But I won’t ever give up my dreams!

P.S. If you are ever in London, please visit the fabulous and gorgeous Royal Opera House. Oh, those divine dancers! They are a pure inspiration. I always love visiting! You’ll always see me out on the street wearing a vibrant, sparkly tutu on those evenings!
P.P.S. Did I tell you how excited I am to get on the horse I'm riding over to the boutique? It’s such an adorable little pink Shetland! They have the prettiest eyes and are oh so patient!
