Darling! What a week it's been! I can hardly believe that it's only Thursday! I'm absolutely knackered, but it's a good knackered, a pink-tutu-tastic knackered!
I've been working my socks off all week (though never without a dazzling pink tutu peeking out underneath, naturally!) I've had back-to-back shows at The Jolly Gardener in London - all sold-out shows! Thank you to everyone who came down - you lot know how to have a good time, I tell ya!
And now, for something completely different - I'm off on a whistlestop tour to Rainham! Who else is excited to see me strut my stuff in the Essex sunshine? It's always an absolute hoot - such a friendly crowd and I can guarantee the venue will be glittering!
Now, I know you're wondering what outfit I'll be dazzling you with - and you know me, I can't let you down! I've been scheming and planning, stitching and sewing, all week and I think I've finally come up with something truly spectacular! You'll have to wait to see the details though - wouldn't want to spoil the surprise!
Oh, did I mention I'll be accompanied by the one and only Horace? Yep, my magnificent steed is ready for action! I tell you what, this journey is gonna be a pink dream.
Before I go though, let's have a little chat about something I'm utterly passionate about. See, Pink Tutu Sparkles is more than just a name, it's a mission!
I know what you're thinking, "Alex, everyone can't wear pink tutus!". Now, while I fully understand your logic, darling, let me assure you - I'm not advocating for everyone to ditch their jeans and run around in pink tulle all day long. However, I do believe that the world needs a little more twirling and glitter! I know you're skeptical but trust me, everyone can embrace the joy of a tutu in some way! It’s about embracing colour, it’s about individuality, and it’s about celebrating the simple things in life. It’s about turning up the volume on joy and spreading a bit of pink magic. I always tell people to 'tutu yourself!' I'm here to teach you how, you know!
Anyway, where was I? Oh, right! My trip to Rainham!
To say I'm excited is an understatement! I always feel so blessed to be able to share my passion with all of you. As I hop on my magnificent steed Horace, (I don’t really, he’s only available for pictures) I can't help but think how far I’ve come. From a Derbyshire scientist, struggling with lab coats to, well, this! Pink Tutu Sparkles - spreading the message of love, joy, and, of course, pink tutus! It's amazing what you can achieve when you embrace your inner twirling, glitter-loving self!
As I write this, I can feel the anticipation building! Rainham, I'm coming for you! Be prepared to twirl!
