This week, the sparkle wagon is chugging along the railway lines, and my destination is a city bursting with creativity and culture: Bristol. A city where history whispers through cobbled streets, where art murals splash across brickwork, and where the sound of laughter spills from vibrant bars and cafes. What's not to love, right?
Oh, but before we dive into the Bristol brilliance, let's catch up, shall we? My darling readers, you know I’m all about spreading the love for pink tutus. And this week, that love has me twirling, skipping, and generally radiating pure joy!
Since my last post, I've been busy! Remember how I mentioned the fabulous charity auction where I snagged a vintage pink tulle skirt (a steal, darling!)? Well, the excitement doesn't stop there. My fellow pink enthusiasts know, the magic of pink tulle transcends mere clothing - it's a statement, an aura of fun! So, naturally, this little number made its grand debut last weekend, when I had the honour of performing for the annual Derbyshire Agricultural Fair!
Think polka dots, hay bales, fluffy farm animals...and a whole lot of tutu-wearing delight! The crowd went wild, and I'm telling you, a pink tutu amidst rolling fields and grazing cows is truly a sight to behold. A moment that made my heart sing!
Now, back to Bristol. And believe me, darlings, the energy here is simply electrifying! From the vibrant graffiti that pops on every corner, to the melodic strains of street performers filling the air, it's a place that pulses with an artistic heart.
Oh, and did I mention the food scene? I'm talking local produce, gourmet delights, and all those little independent cafes bursting with character. Just picture this: me, in a vintage pink tutu, perched in a cozy corner cafe, sipping a latte and watching the world go by.
Now, darling, onto the pièce de résistance of this Bristol adventure – the reason for my journey! It's about to go down – the Bristol Ballet Showcase! I'm thrilled to be joining the talented dancers, performers, and musicians for this spectacular event.
As many of you know, ballet has always been a huge part of my life. From those early days in the university ballet club, when I first fell for the magic of twirling in a tutu (the very one, actually!), to the countless performances and workshops I've attended since. My love for dance continues to ignite my soul. And I simply cannot wait to bring the Pink Tutu Sparkles magic to the stage!
Bristol, you've embraced my pink-tutu passion wholeheartedly. And my journey doesn't end here, oh no. There's a world of adventure, a spectrum of sparkles, and a whole lot of pink tulle waiting to be explored!
My next stop, darling? Well, that's a secret I'll be whispering into your ears soon enough.
