This time around, I decided to swap the glamorous red carpets for the good ol' trusty train tracks. After all, what's more delightful than a cuppa and a bit of chit-chat with fellow travelers while watching the world fly by? 🚄 Plus, let's be honest, a good old-fashioned railway journey is a perfect excuse to break out those fabulous hats and sunglasses for the perfect glamorous on-the-go look. Just remember darlings, keep the hairspray to a minimum! We don't want any disastrous explosions in the carriages. 💖

Upon arriving in the beautiful Sutton in Ashfield, I knew my first port of call had to be the theatre. After all, every fabulous queen knows that there's nothing quite as inspiring as a good show. And this little beauty definitely delivered!
The Sutton in Ashfield Theatre, a historic jewel with a stunning art deco facade, drew me in like a moth to a lightbulb. The minute I stepped inside, I felt a shiver of excitement. I swear, darlings, I even heard a little "Ooh La La" in the air.
An Unexpected Discovery:
Before heading into the actual theatre, I stumbled upon the most charming tea room you could imagine, called "The Sugarplum". It was the perfect stop for a bit of afternoon refreshment, and their homemade scones? To die for! 🍰
The Ballet Performance:
As you all know, ballet is my absolute passion, and this show certainly didn't disappoint! The graceful ballerinas, with their perfect jumps and delicate spins, transported me into a world of dreams and fantasy. The music was beautiful, the costumes exquisite, and the stage lighting absolutely magical. I found myself giggling and crying during the performance, I couldn't believe how captivating the show was! I even found myself trying to sneak a little pirouette into the seat behind me, shhhh. It's not always about the perfect pose. But it was truly a highlight of my trip.
A Bit of Glam 👠

Oh darling, I swear, there's nothing quite like a good shopping spree! My adventure in Sutton in Ashfield took me to the cutest little boutiques. One shop in particular, "Fifi's Fancy Threads", had the most delightful collection of vintage clothing, perfect for adding that little touch of "je ne sais quoi" to my wardrobe.
Pink Tutu Adventures:
I knew the perfect outfit to make a grand entrance was a sparkly pink tutu. But since it's just not polite to be the only one dressed like a princess, I brought my pink tutu suitcase to the town square, I grabbed a mic and announced: "This town's gonna be pink and it's gonna be sparkly. Let's get some tutus on!" To my absolute surprise, every single person in the square came up and tried on my sparkly pink tutus! My goodness, these townsfolk sure do love a good time! I ended up performing a impromptu ballet street performance for the crowd and you know what, I've got to admit that twirling a pink tutu on cobblestone is not always the easiest thing in the world! My poor ballet shoes are practically worn out.
