Oh darlings, how absolutely smashing is this day?! Pink Tutu Sparkles, your favourite pink-loving, tutu-obsessed drag queen, has just touched down in the absolutely gorgeous city of Denton! And guess what? I'm here to share all the sparkling, pink-tastic details with you in post number 4320. It’s been a wild ride already and it’s only just getting started.
Firstly, I must gush about the journey. The train journey was a dream, darling! I donned my absolute fave pink sequined jumpsuit - just picture it, you know, with all those tiny iridescent sequins twinkling under the sun - and accessorised with a pink feather boa and my trusty, absolutely massive, hot pink statement earrings. I got so many lovely smiles from fellow passengers! You see, I truly believe in spreading joy wherever I go, and there’s nothing more uplifting than a good old dose of Pink Tutu Sparkles! And then there was the station. The scent of roasted peanuts, the echoes of chatter, a symphony of buskers – the most wonderfully eclectic soundtrack to my arrival!
Now, if you know Pink Tutu Sparkles, you know we just HAVE to get to the centre of town to find a proper millinery! A fab hat for this weekend’s performances at Denton Fair was top of the agenda. The shop, called "Flowery Frolics" was just what I dreamt of! The smell of ribbon and feathers and felt made me practically giddy, darling. We found the perfect piece, a wide brimmed sun hat adorned with feathers, pink of course, and little blush roses. I have a hunch it’ll be a complete sensation with my newest sparkly costume.
And of course, no trip to Denton is complete without a visit to their fabulous ballet school! Now, darling, I’m not saying it was like that ballet school in The Little Mermaid, but, it was seriously pretty! The little ballerinas looked like absolute little angels - with perfect pirouettes and arabesques. And you just know that somewhere in those pint-sized pinks, there’s another Pink Tutu Sparkles in the making! I must have stood there, mesmerized by the grace of those young ladies, for what felt like an eternity.
And of course, darling, as a true Tutu Queen, I simply MUST indulge in some delightful ballet attire! Who knew a little trip to the shop for some stretchy, sparkly tights could feel like the most incredible treasure hunt?! You've simply got to feel those new tights for yourself, darling, it’s pure magic. They’re not just any old tights, darling, oh no, they have glitter woven right into the fabric, like they are bursting with happy. Perfect for this weekend’s shows!
