Oh darling, how I love the feeling of a train hurtling through the countryside, leaving the familiar scenery of Derbyshire behind! Today’s journey was all about making my way to the seaside town of Folkestone for a glamorous performance at the wonderful “The Little Theatre” tonight! Now, as a true fashionista with a penchant for all things pink and sparkly, it’s no surprise that the idea of a seaside show fills me with pure joy. After all, who doesn’t love the image of a beautiful pink tutu fluttering against the salty sea breeze? 💖
I, Pink Tutu Sparkles (Alex, when I'm not on stage), have a life that’s almost as exciting as the colours in a box of crayons! It all started a few years back, back in my lab coat days when I was getting a degree in science. My scientific mind, although analytical, could not deny the magic of a fluffy, twirling tutu! It was like fate that led me to the university’s ballet club. Now, you can't imagine the joy I felt when I put on my first pink tutu! I just knew that the pink tutu was destined to become my life’s mission. To be honest, at that point, all I really knew was that I felt incredibly glamorous.
Oh, but before I get carried away, let's talk fashion, darlings! Today’s ensemble for my train journey? A breathtaking fuchsia-pink dress with matching shoes, finished off with a blush pink cardigan. (Of course! The cardie’s essential to ward off any nasty breezes). To complete the look, I opted for my "Twinkle in the Pink" head band. Let me tell you, it was pure glittery magic, just perfect for attracting those appreciative stares (and hopefully a little applause too!) And my handbag? Oh, that's a story for another day! It was a gift from my wonderful cousin, a fabulous designer who whips up the most gorgeous creations - I'm so grateful to have such a talented member of my family!

Of course, I can’t forget the actual performance at “The Little Theatre!” It’s a venue with the sweetest stage setup. There’s a real elegance about it – almost a fairy-tale vibe with little twinkling lights strung up all over the ceiling. It makes it such a magical place to dance. Just picturing myself performing, spinning and twirling in my magnificent tutu! My outfits are an explosion of pink with delicate feathers, glitter, sequins, and even a hint of lace here and there – just like my personality!
Tonight, my act will showcase a dance medley of “Moulin Rouge!” You know how much I adore that film. The Parisian music and dancing are a whirlwind of joy and happiness! I think my audiences will enjoy a “Pink Tutu Sparkles” twist on all those delightful classics. But enough talk! Tonight’s the night for pink tutus to shimmer, sparkle and show the world what a truly spectacular pink world we can create together! I can't wait to perform.
