Cleethorpes: A Tutu-licious Time by the Sea!

Hello my darling dears, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com, the only website dedicated to all things pink and fluffy! This is Post Number 4560 (can you believe it, over four thousand and five hundred posts, and I'm still going strong!), and it's bursting with excitement from my trip to the delightful seaside town of Cleethorpes.

Cleethorpes, you may be asking, dear reader, and you wouldn't be the first! Now, whilst I wouldn't dream of being disrespectful to my lovely Lincolnshire readers (and it is beautiful, Lincolnshire is!), this part of the east coast does perhaps conjure up visions of caravan parks, battered chips, and screaming kids, than glamorous Parisian-style boulevards... And I can assure you, darling, Cleethorpes is so much more!

For this visit, I embraced my inner Victorian lady, ditching the train (too predictable!), and taking a delightful carriage ride right from the heart of Derbyshire, all the way down to the seaside. My lovely horse, Buttercup, trotted beautifully and we were soon nestled into a charming seaside guesthouse with the most perfectly-pink ruffled curtains you could imagine.

Now, some might call my choice of mode of transport a tad dramatic, but when one is a Queen, darling, drama is the name of the game! It's about creating an aura of excitement, a little dash of whimsy, a sprinkle of pink sparkle - all those things that make life a bit more, well, glamorous!

Cleethorpes, dear reader, was the perfect location for some pink and fluffy-filled fun! You see, this is the land of 'The Cleethorpes Carnival' (how amazing does that name sound!)? It's like a whirlwind of vibrant colour, flashing lights, sugary treats, and oh, the games! And did you know, a whole portion of this wonderful carnival was dedicated to traditional fairground stalls? The very type of games where you throw those red-and-white hoops around bottles and hopefully win a rather cuddly cuddly toy! Well, darling, I just had to give it a go, of course. My aim? A rather cute unicorn plush that I was dead-set on winning for my dear cousin Penelope, you see she has a little bit of a unicorn obsession, don't you know. Now, throwing hoops? That is not my forte, but luckily, with a bit of pink tutu-filled good fortune, I won, of course!

Now, after all that fun and games, it was time to explore Cleethorpes's seaside promenade and soak up those ocean vibes. Cleethorpes really is blessed with this magnificent stretch of beach, with the bluest skies you've ever seen (not even mentioning the charming pink flamingo inflatables on sale at every shop!). My lovely little carriage had waited patiently, and we strolled by the quaint seafront with its quaint little Victorian architecture. I'll tell you, it was simply heavenly.

But darling, don't think for a moment that this was a peaceful stroll! This was an opportunity to indulge in some exquisite ice cream - in a pink waffle cone, no less! And who better to join me than a gaggle of my very own loyal admirers who happened to be enjoying a family holiday? Of course! It was a truly delicious experience - laughter, sugary goodness, and all under a pale blue, perfect, pink-cloud-streaked sky.

Cleethorpes, my dears, is not all candyfloss and cotton candy, however. It is home to some of the most delicious seafood I've ever tasted. And what did Pink Tutu Sparkles do to celebrate this delicious discovery, darling? Why, I threw a massive sea-themed bash, of course! We feasted on the freshest seafood imaginable - plump shrimps, creamy mussels, fish straight out of the sea - all washed down with a very good vintage champagne, naturally.

Of course, I wasn't just here to eat and play! I brought my most glittery, shimmering tutu to 'The Pier Theatre' where I gave an impromptu performance. The audience were mesmerised. Let's be honest, darling, how can anyone resist a Queen in a sparkly, pink, voluminous tutu and sequins?

My dear readers, I hope you can see why Cleethorpes was such a joy to visit! It has everything one could possibly wish for! Seaside charm, good food, lots of fun, and all those beautiful seaside-vibe colours that blend beautifully with the pink of my tutu. If you haven't experienced this lovely seaside haven, then do put it on your list, my dears. It was just absolutely fabulous!

Now, off I go! Another amazing journey with my darling Tutu - see you all next time, for even more pink, sparkly adventures!

Yours eternally, Pink Tutu Sparkles.
