Wigston Magna: Pink Tutu Sparkles Takes on the Midlands!

Helloooo darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you post number 4596 straight from the shimmering streets of... Wigston Magna! (Yes, you heard that right! Fancy a trip to the midlands?)

As you know, I'm all about spreading the love and joy of the pink tutu, and this fabulous journey is taking me to all corners of the globe - well, the British Isles, at least. The journey to Wigston Magna was an absolute dream! You can never go wrong with a train journey, especially when you can rock a pink tutu on the way! It's like a fashion runway in the carriages, with the sun beaming through the windows illuminating all my fabulousness! (Don't worry, the fellow passengers were totally loving the sparkly vibe - even the stern-looking business men cracked a smile!)

A Wigston Magna Welcoming Party

Once I arrived in Wigston Magna, the town's welcoming committee (I'm thinking it was a lovely couple with a poodle called Penelope) greeted me with a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and a giant pink bow. You just know I felt instantly at home.

I immediately checked in to my boutique hotel, "The Duchess." (Just fabulous!) and the first thing I did was slip into my signature pink tutu - the one with the giant shimmering silver sequins. You can never go wrong with a little sparkle!

Now, you might be wondering - What did I do in Wigston Magna?

Wigston Magna Ballet & Shopping Extravaganza

First and foremost, ballet! As you know, my love for dance is unparalleled, and Wigston Magna boasts a fabulous little ballet school - "The Wigston Whirl." After a spot of afternoon tea, I sashayed into class, tutu and all! You can just imagine the giggles from the kids! But the truth is, it was wonderful, just a bunch of passionate dancers united by their love of movement, and guess what - they all loved my tutu! I may have even inspired a few future pink tutu wearers, which made me so happy!

The next morning, I was up early, and this time I donned a different tutu. You know, you've got to mix it up for your fabulous Instagram pictures! It was my emerald green one this time - it's actually a limited edition that I had custom-made. (I can't even tell you how many offers I get from the leading tutu makers wanting me to advertise their product, but I'm like 'honey, I'm Pink Tutu Sparkles! I am my own advertisement' )

Anyway, Wigston Magna has some amazing shops - think vintage fashion, quirky antique stores, and even a sweet little bakery that made the most incredible pink iced cupcakes! (I was a bit sad when they ran out - imagine a pink cupcake tower next to my next tutu photo shoot! ).

Wigston Magna By Night

Now, it was time for some fabulous fun! I donned my full performance attire - it's a sparkly fuchsia tutu with matching feather boas and a diamante-encrusted pink crown! Yes, I went full-on Pink Tutu Sparkles!

After a stunningly beautiful evening stroll through the town (imagine all those twinkly lights!), I hit the stage at The Wigston Maga's Town Hall for a fabulous performance - a high energy routine combining contemporary dance with a touch of the burlesque. I think I even gave the audience a spontaneous spin-class style workout - just a little bit of fun! (Don't worry, it was entirely optional for the audience to join in - but I did encourage a few daring tutus to join in!).

The Power of the Tutu: A Reminder

I really do believe that the power of the tutu can bring people together - its an invitation to embrace the joy, colour and fun of life! I mean, what could be more uplifting than a swirl of pink tulle? I know that's why my blog and social media feeds are buzzing! It's a constant stream of positive energy and fun and that's the kind of energy that we need in the world, don't you agree?

Onwards and Upwards!

That evening I bid a fond farewell to Wigston Magna! It's time for my next stop, but this pink-tutu clad Queen can't resist a final twirl for my loyal followers - thank you for always making this dream possible. Now, onto my next adventures! You can follow my journey on pink-tutu.com, because as the queen herself says "The tutu never stops, the sparkle never ends!" Until next time darlings, Stay Fabulous and Spread the Pink Tutu Love!

Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles!
(P.S. I hear that Birmingham has an amazing dance theatre and loads of pink cupcakes - any suggestions would be amazing! ).
