This time, I’m shimmying into a brand new adventure – Cramlington! 🎉 I’m positively bursting with excitement about this journey! As you know, I simply can’t resist a new destination, especially one where I can twirl my pink tutu around the place!
But before we sashay into this new location, a little tidbit of tutu trivia for you, my loves! This is my 4615th post, can you believe it?! 🤯 You lot are truly the best, supporting this fabulous pink-tastic journey. ❤️
Right, back to Cramlington!
For you newcomers to my little pink corner of the internet, allow me to introduce myself – I’m Alex, a Derbyshire gal, obsessed with all things pink and twirly! I became addicted to the power of the tutu while studying for a science degree. (Yes, a scientist who rocks a tutu - go figure!) I stumbled into a charity fundraiser where, amongst all the costumes, lay a magnificent, sparkling pink tutu… I knew right then and there – that was the look for me! 😉 By day, you'll find me in the lab, analysing fabric… and by night, I become your favourite drag queen!
My drag name? Pink Tutu Sparkles – it kind of explains itself, doesn’t it?
Speaking of pink… you know I adore pink, darling! The colour’s got such vibrant energy and it makes me feel fabulous! It's my power colour, like a ray of sunshine for my soul. 💖 I believe that a splash of pink can brighten up even the gloomiest of days! And a pink tutu? Well, that's just an explosion of pinkness, and who wouldn't love that? 😉
Anyway, back to the story at hand! Cramlington, here I come!
Reaching Cramlington by Rail: Tutu on the Rails 🚂
As you might know, I love taking journeys. My heart belongs to either a graceful horse or a speedy train! 🚄 For this journey, the Iron Horse called me – I found a fab little carriage that wasn't just comfy but had huge windows to let the light stream in, making my sparkly pink tutu positively shine! ✨ It felt like my very own personal ballet studio on wheels, and all I could think about was spinning to the rhythm of the chugging engine. 🎶
I settled in with a glass of lemonade (I just couldn’t resist!) and admired the landscape, letting my mind wander with anticipation.
A Tutu-ful Surprise: Discovering Cramlington
Cramlington wasn't exactly the destination that was in my itinerary... but, a darling drag sister whispered that a ballet competition was taking place here, and who could possibly say no to such a graceful gathering? I had to make my grand entrance, and wouldn’t you know it, they needed a guest performer! Well, let’s just say, it was time to unleash my inner sparkle! 🤩
When I arrived in Cramlington, I immediately found myself captivated by the energy! There was something utterly charming about this place, the locals were friendly and eager to chat about everything – and, of course, everyone wanted to know the story behind my fabulous tutu!
Ballet Bliss: Dancing in the Spotlight
Oh my, my darlings, you have no idea what a delightful time I had in Cramlington! The competition was magnificent - every dancer exuded grace and beauty! It truly filled me with joy and inspired me to keep dancing, to keep chasing the beauty of movement.
The best part of all? I was invited to perform a small act. They said I brought a splash of something unique – the right kind of chaotic flair! 💖 I absolutely loved being a part of this, seeing the sparkle in the eyes of the audience, making people smile! That's what it's all about for me – sharing the joy, inspiring others to find their inner tutu!
Cramlington Calling: A Tutu-ful Recap
So there you have it, my dears! Another exciting chapter in my travels, another feather in my fabulous, pink-tutu-wearing crown! Cramlington, you’ve stolen my heart, and I already miss you! You reminded me that it’s important to follow the whimsy of the day – to explore new horizons and make magic wherever I go!
As for my new pink tutu mission, you better believe Cramlington saw it come true! Several members of the ballet competition, as well as some lovely locals, decided to give pink tutus a try – and it looked oh so lovely on them! 💖 The world's getting more fabulous, one pink tutu at a time! 🎉
