So, as you know, my love affair with the stage knows no bounds. Every performance is a chance to spread the joy, the laughter, and the power of a good twirl! And this time, I've found myself whisked away to the historic city of Coventry! Now, I don't know about you, but whenever I hear "Coventry", I think of those beautiful medieval cathedrals, the iconic Lady Godiva legend, and of course, the legendary 2 Tone music scene!
Train Tracks and Pink Tutu Tracks!
Speaking of legends, how can I start a new post without mentioning my preferred mode of transport – the trusty railway! Yes, you know your Queen prefers to arrive in style! Picture this: A perfectly coordinated outfit - all hot pink, naturally - shimmering pink tutu billowing slightly with the gentle rocking of the train carriage, and the most divine pair of platform heels clicking their way across the polished floor! My journey was filled with gentle conversation with fellow passengers, who all seemed to be absolutely captivated by the sight of a walking, talking pink tutu masterpiece! Of course, I couldn't resist a good "snap" for the 'Gram. We do love a train selfie, don't we, darlings?
A Coventry Kaleidoscope!
After my arrival, I had a real "Pink Tutu" adventure planned, and what's a diva to do in Coventry without a trip to the magnificent Coventry Cathedral? The beautiful, light-filled space is like something out of a fairytale! Imagine my delight when I saw how the light danced on the stained-glass windows - such a divine, almost celestial sight. And you know me - couldn't resist a few perfectly posed photographs to capture the magic! I've uploaded them to the Pink-Tutu website (make sure you check them out!).
Tutus, Tiaras, and Theater
Now, what's a drag queen to do in Coventry if not indulge in a bit of theatrical fun? And so I ventured out to see a dazzling ballet performance! A truly beautiful spectacle! You can’t get better than the grace and beauty of ballet dancers - they're like human butterflies in flight! It reminded me how important movement and creativity are to my life. In fact, after the show, I couldn't resist heading to the nearby dance studio for a little pirouette practice - you know, just keeping the dance skills sharp, darling!
The Coventrian Craze!
Coventry has been such a fun-filled adventure! But it wouldn’t be a true "Pink Tutu" blog post without a touch of tutu magic. After my dance practice, I headed to the Coventry Market, ready to spread some pink tutu cheer! You know my philosophy - there's no such thing as too much pink! So I gathered all my courage, put on my biggest, brightest pink tutu, and proceeded to walk around the market! I started talking to the friendly stallholders, charming customers, and inviting people to wear tutus. Honestly, you should have seen the smiles on everyone’s faces! There was even one particularly lovely lady, selling flowers, who had an adorable little girl in tow, She’s a natural born "Tutu Queen"! And who can resist a tiny human wearing pink tulle? She looked utterly delightful - a truly angelic sight, darling!
From the Stage to the Science Lab!
As the evening drew in, the curtain closed on another sensational Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure. Time to return to my other persona! From the dazzling lights of the stage to the dimly lit, quiet world of the lab. Yes, you read that right - when I'm not conquering the stage, I’m in the lab! By day, you'll find me testing the quality of fabrics, using my science skills to make sure our clothes last. My work may seem a far cry from dazzling tutus and shimmering costumes, but really, they both use creativity and problem-solving! You know I love a good scientific equation!

As I said at the start, my aim is simple, darlings - I want to spread the joy, sparkle, and positivity of the pink tutu to every corner of the globe! From Derbyshire to Coventry, and beyond!
