Hello my darlings! It's your favourite Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, signing in for post number 4654 from the heart of… Worthing! Oh, yes! Your girl has taken to the coast, embracing the salty air and even saltier chips, all for a weekend of sparkly shenanigans. It wouldn't be a Tutu Queen adventure without some fancy footwork, darling, and that's just what I brought to the South Coast!
Tutu Travels by Train:
Now, I've always said that there's no better way to travel than by train. It's the chance to catch up on some gossip mags (fabulous!) and watch the world zoom past my fabulous pink tutu. This trip was no different. A morning of watching the rolling green hills of Derbyshire transform into the coastal plains of Sussex - pure magic! It's always fun spotting other train travellers who look like they could be part of my posse. Someone in a tutu with an amazing fur coat would be a good start!
The Show Must Go On... in Worthing:
After a pit stop for a delicious hot chocolate and a cheeky scone, I arrived in Worthing and oh, honey, let me tell you - this town knows how to party! My evening performance was at the delightful Little Theatre - such a sweet, intimate venue, with a crowd who were just ready to have a blast. The show was a total blast. My set included classics like "Dancing Queen" (obviously, it’s Pink Tutu Sparkles!), "Can’t Stop the Feeling", and a cheeky rendition of “Let’s Go To The Beach”. You know your Tutu Queen loves to bring a little seaside spirit to her shows. And my outfit? Let’s just say a touch of shimmering pink, a big, voluminous tulle tutu and my signature feathered headband were the main highlights, alongside a few glittery surprises I'm not going to spoil just yet. Oh, I can't wait for the photos from that one!
A Whirl Through the Shops:
Darling, it wouldn’t be a weekend in Worthing without a little retail therapy, would it? So, I, of course, hit up the shops! You just know my eye was on the lookout for any hint of pink – oh, there were sequins galore. My mission was simple: find a pink-tastic accessory to complete my Worthing look. Let's just say my shopping bag is now the envy of every tutu aficionado on the planet.
Ballerina Bliss:
And how could I come to a town as picturesque as Worthing and not visit their famous seafront? The boardwalk was positively bustling with a rainbow of happy tourists, but I knew the perfect spot for my ballerina-themed photo shoot: a glorious little art deco cafe, with the pier peeking through the background. The sunlight glistened on the shimmering ocean as I did a few graceful turns in my full-skirted pink tutu – sheer, utter glamour! Dinner & Dreams:
What’s a Tutu Queen getaway without a fab meal? It's got to be something indulgent and beautiful. Worthing delivered! I opted for a seafood restaurant by the harbour - the fresh catch, the sea breeze… pure romance. As I nibbled on my delectable shellfish platter (topped with a whimsical sprinkling of pink peppercorns, obviously), I reminisced on all the exciting days leading up to my Worthing visit. It was a real dream weekend for a Tutu Queen.
Pink Tutu Power:
You see, my darling friends, it’s all about spreading the pink tutu love. From the train journeys, the vibrant performances, the fabulous outfits and the seaside fun - everything feels more magical in pink!
