It's a little different than my usual glamourous haunts of, say, Covent Garden, but as they say, the world is my stage, and I wouldn't have it any other way! After all, spreading the gospel of pink tutus requires venturing far and wide, right? 😉
So, how did I get here? Well, as many of you know, I love the excitement of travelling by train. There's just something magical about watching the scenery whizz by, the sun shining on the tracks, and feeling the gentle sway of the carriages as I sip on a cup of tea and dream about all the pink tutus I'll wear at my next performance. 🚄☕️💖
And what better way to kick off a trip than with a ballet show at the Basildon Arts Theatre? The grace and beauty of ballet just melts away my worries. And I have to tell you, my heart truly soared when I spotted a lovely young lady in the audience with a pale pink tutu! 🥰 It truly makes me beam to see the pink tutu love spreading!
Speaking of pink tutus, this journey wasn't complete without a quick stop at the Basildon Town Centre. It was just screaming for a little sprinkle of pink tutu magic! 🛍️ I swear, you can never have enough pink tutus, right? 💖 Luckily, I found a delightful boutique with an abundance of fabulous fabrics just begging to be transformed into a masterpiece. And the colours! I felt like a little girl in a candy shop! 💖🍭 Imagine, a hot pink tutu with a cascade of shimmering sequins, a splash of cherry red for a daring edge, and of course, a flourish of fuschia feathers for good measure! Just picture it! 😍 I simply must add this vision to my repertoire.
You might be wondering, what exactly brings a pink tutu-loving queen like myself to the outskirts of Essex? Why, a little community fair called the Basildon Big Day Out! 🤩 This event, jam-packed with live music, delicious food stalls, and a dazzling array of activities, promised an audience for all! And me? Well, you know I couldn't pass up the opportunity to perform, share a little pink tutu magic, and inspire everyone to find their inner sparkles.
The fair was abuzz with excitement, the aroma of sizzling hot dogs and fresh pastries tickled my nose, and the laughter of children rang through the air. I have to admit, even though I was a little nervous about performing outside my usual drag scene, it felt wonderful to bring a bit of glitz and glam to this bustling event. 💖 ✨
You know, being Pink Tutu Sparkles is more than just about wearing tutus and shimmering sequins, it's about spreading joy and positivity wherever I go! This time, I found myself spreading joy in the form of a delightful face painting session. Imagine: a fluffy pink unicorn, a majestic pink butterfly, a sparkling pink rose... Oh, it was pure pink magic! And the joy on the faces of the little ones? Simply priceless. 🥺💖
