Royal Tunbridge Wells: A Pink Tutu Paradise! 💅🩰

Hello darlings, and welcome to another glittering edition of Pink-Tutu.com! You know, I often feel like this blog is just a diary of all the lovely places I get to visit with my pink tutu by my side. This week, we’ve travelled all the way down to Kent, a county bursting with beauty and charm, to visit the darling little town of Royal Tunbridge Wells!

Now, post number 4765 (don’t ask me how I keep track, it’s a wonder I can remember what I had for breakfast), is a little bit different for me. Not just because Tunbridge Wells was utterly delightful, with its gorgeous Georgian architecture and pretty shops, but because this is the very first time I’ve ridden a horse to get somewhere!

Imagine me, Pink Tutu Sparkles, arriving at the railway station with a whole troupe of shimmering horses – not just a chariot, darlings, an entire stable full! It’s hard to believe my dear, Derbyshire roots lead me to travel with a gaggle of steeds, but there we were, ready for the ride of a lifetime! And you know what? My trusty pink tutu held up fabulously even when we encountered some, shall we say, energetic turns on our journey.

We arrived in Tunbridge Wells to the most glorious sunlit afternoon, and as the horses were settling in their stable (don’t worry, they got the finest oats and hay, with extra pink ribbons for decoration, of course!), I dashed off to explore. You see, darling, when I’m on tour, I simply can’t resist the thrill of a new place. I am absolutely in love with shopping, and you know I need to find the perfect pink ensemble to complete my Pink Tutu look!

I am positively obsessed with all things pretty, and this town did not disappoint! Imagine delicate antique shops, each piece shimmering with elegance and history, like treasures unearthed from a magical kingdom. We browsed through fabrics that felt as soft as clouds and scarves that draped like silk rivers, all just begging to be transformed into my next fabulous performance outfit!

And, oh my, the clothes shops! I am a woman who adores colour, and my love of pink is truly a thing to behold! Here, we found the most darling stores, stuffed to the brim with pink and lavender, peach and apricot, with everything I could possibly imagine for a glamorous night out – sequins, glitter, lace, ruffles… Oh, it was like a dream come true! My little tutu even found a beautiful, shimmering tulle to match, adorned with sparkly pink feathers. A true dream team!

We weren’t just on a shopping spree, you know! I always love experiencing a little bit of culture whenever I travel. This time, Tunbridge Wells gave us a ballet performance to remember. The delicate steps, the expressive grace, the symphony of movement…it was absolutely magical! Even a ballet performance inspired me to explore ballet style clothing, a gorgeous trend right now with fabulous pink tutus being the perfect accent piece for so many outfits! I know you know, my darling, that even a simple outfit with a touch of tulle becomes so stylish and magical!

And let me tell you, darling, after a busy day exploring and enjoying all this fabulousness, what’s better than relaxing at the prettiest spa in town? My skin practically shimmered from the treatments, and as the pink light danced across the room, I couldn't help but feel completely pampered and utterly at peace.

The journey back was as delightful as the journey out – we took the train back, enjoying the views of the countryside and a delicious pink iced tea from the trolley (pink is always my choice of course, and they had it pre-made with a cute little straw – how delightful!). I find trains always allow me to daydream about new pink creations – imagine this little dress, or that fabulous feather boa with just a touch of shimmer!

Before we leave Royal Tunbridge Wells, darling, there’s one more thing I have to share with you. This darling little town is bursting with charming restaurants and cafes, each with a little touch of elegance, from classic vintage afternoon tea rooms with fluffy cakes and pastries, to trendy cafes buzzing with life and the most gorgeous macaroons – all in shades of pink, of course! I'm sure you're surprised to hear this but in every stop we've had this time, they always had pink cakes! Maybe it's just me and the sparkle in my eyes, but I have noticed lately how more people are really embracing pink as a color that can just make a place! If you can make the cakes pink then people will start to see what we've known for so long - pink is a celebration! So join me darling, spread the joy of pink, and be your own Pink Tutu Sparkles, wherever you go!

Until next time, my loves! Remember to visit www.pink-tutu.com for daily dose of pink, tutus, and everything in between. And if you see a pink tutu fluttering around your town, well, maybe it’s just me! 💖💋
