Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another dazzlingly delicious travel diary. Today we're whisking ourselves away to the lovely town of Sutton, for a whirlwind of performances and, of course, shopping.
Now, let's be honest, I wouldn't be much of a queen without a good ol' fashion railway adventure. So, with my sequined suitcase packed (just a hint of tulle for emergencies), I hopped on the train, my signature pink tutu fluttering in the breeze, much to the delight of my fellow travellers. Who doesn't love a little extra sparkle on their commute, right?
As I pulled into Sutton station, I could already feel the thrill of excitement in the air! My first stop was the absolutely divine 'Little Twirlers' boutique, a veritable candy land of fabulousness for all things tutus. I may or may not have purchased two new pink numbers… Oh, the embarrassment! They're just so fabulous! Imagine my excitement!
Sutton's main square was bursting with life! A farmer's market, buzzing with happy shoppers and vibrant colours, reminded me of the charming village fairs back in Derbyshire where I first began my journey as Pink Tutu Sparkles. I grabbed a fresh, pink-hued rose from a sweet stall owner - because a girl needs to look fabulous while spreading the pink tutu gospel, darling!
As the sun began its descent, I prepped for my evening show at The Rose Theatre, a historic venue brimming with character. It felt magical as I stood on stage in my dazzling pink tutu, radiating joy and encouraging the whole audience to join me for a glorious group twirl.
Oh, and did I mention the fabulous performance I saw at the local ballet school?! Those talented youngsters, showcasing the power and beauty of ballet in a heartwarming performance. I even squeezed in a quick ballet class with them later! Never miss an opportunity for a pirouette, darling!
Of course, I wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without indulging in some delicious food and drink. The Pink Pastry Cafe lived up to its name with its darling array of treats - from macarons to cupcakes, they all came in different shades of pink! Gasp! They were simply divine.
But Sutton wasn't all fun and games. Behind the pink glitz and glamorous sparkle, there's a deep love for this colourful town that inspires me to be a beacon of joy for the world. I love seeing the spark of happiness in the eyes of others, even the smallest details can make such a big difference!
