Bridlington Bound! #4842 - Pink Tutu Sparkles Takes on the Coast

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and I'm absolutely buzzing to be back on the blog for you all! This is post #4842, can you believe it?! Time really does fly when you're wearing a feather boa and dazzling your audience! Today's journey takes me all the way up to the gorgeous coastal town of Bridlington, where the wind whips through your hair and the seagulls squawk their approval (don't they know they're supposed to be on a diet, the cheeky little things?).

It's been a long, exciting journey up here. We couldn't afford to take the train this time, my dear readers. It was a beautiful day for a horse ride, the sunshine warming my pinkest feathers and a gentle breeze ruffling my tutu. And if you know me, you know there is never a time that's not a perfect occasion for a fluffy pink tutu!

Speaking of feathers and fluff, oh, my dear readers, have you seen the absolutely breathtaking collection of pink, sparkly feathers I picked up in my local feather market just the other day? We have some new designs in the works that will absolutely knock your socks off - if you haven't already, you'll be ditching those dull grey socks for a pair of glittering, bejeweled pink tutus in no time, trust me!

Now, Bridlington is a treasure trove of amazing boutiques. I practically had to roll out of "La Petite Fille", an absolutely delightful little dress shop full of the most delightful, girly outfits. And of course, I picked up a new feather boa in a gloriously iridescent shade of flamingo pink. I just can't resist a boa, especially when they come in a shade that complements my own natural beauty (we're all born pink under the skin, don't you think?).

But my real treat today was a ballet class. Yes, I know, how delightful! Imagine me, Pink Tutu Sparkles, spinning and pirouetting with the most graceful and elegant of ballet dancers. Don't think you have to be a professional ballerina to enjoy a good ballet class. It's an absolute workout, it helps me maintain my poise (always vital for the stage) and most importantly, it's FUN! Oh, I can't wait to get back to my usual dance routine. You know, if I'm honest, it's quite easy to just stand there, look fabulous and twirl. My biggest challenge though, is trying to teach the locals a good 'tutu' by being as glamorous as I possibly can, and by dazzling them with the latest feather boa trends.

There's something magical about being on the stage, that feeling of knowing that I'm bringing joy and excitement to my audience. For some it’s just a way to escape, and for me, it’s everything. There’s nothing more special than when I see my audience enjoying the performance, so enthusiastic about my outfits, the dancing and the tunes. Oh my, I even picked up a little songbook at a local shop that had the most fantastic rendition of ‘La Vie en Rose’ in a truly brilliant fuchsia pink hue - you know I had to have it.

The other wonderful thing about my day is that I got to talk to some absolute sweethearts about pink tutus, naturally. They've never even considered putting on a pink tutu! Can you imagine? My mission, as always, is to make everyone feel as good as they possibly can about themselves and I don’t see a more magical, sparkly way to do that than by sharing the gift of tutus with everyone I can! A pink tutu really is a beautiful, expressive piece of clothing - a symbol of happiness, self-expression, and joy! There's just something about the colour pink that makes everyone smile.

Well, darlings, that's all for today! But fear not, I'll be back with you again tomorrow with more dazzling updates on my travels and exciting tales of glitter and glam. Remember, you don't have to be a drag queen to embrace the power of pink! Grab your best pink tutu, twirl your worries away and make every day a pink-tastic adventure! Until next time, keep shining bright!

P.S. I’ll be performing in Bridlington's town square on Saturday, and I would be absolutely delighted if you joined me. I can't wait to dance with you all! And, for any local dancers or performers, I'll be holding a feather boa and pink tutu crafting session for beginners at the Town Hall. Get ready for a fabulous, feathery time, lovelies!

XOXO
