Hitchin Calling: Pink Tutu Sparkles Makes a Fashion Statement!

Post number 4846!

Darling, you know I'm never far from a pink tutu and a flurry of fabulousness, right? So when the opportunity arose to sashay my way to the charming town of Hitchin, I knew it was a chance to spread some serious sparkly joy. This week, Pink Tutu Sparkles is bringing the glitz and glam to a new destination – and yes, the outfit involves a glorious, fluffy pink tutu, of course!

Now, before we dive into the details of my latest adventure, I just have to share some juicy behind-the-scenes tidbits. Remember that I always travel in style – my choice? Either a whizzing train ride or a romantic, leisurely jaunt on horseback. (Don't worry, dear, my pink tutu never gets trampled, my horses are impeccably trained!). And just so you know, my funding for these glamorous excursions comes from my amazing drag performances! I’m never short of an offer, be it a local fair, a glittering gala, or even a charming little pub with a thirst for entertainment! My tutu is my magic wand, turning any place into a stage!

As for Hitchin… it's got this gorgeous mix of history and modern vibes. You can literally stumble across an ancient church and then bump into a trendy café with pink macarons (a fellow pink lover, no doubt!). But my heart truly belonged to the Hitchin Festival. What a brilliant day it was, bursting with colour, music, and laughter!

I practically danced my way into the heart of the festivities. The locals were thrilled to have me there, I could practically see the sparkle in their eyes (I know, I’m full of glitter myself!). There were little ones asking me to twirl, ladies snapping photos with their phone, and even a chap who wanted a photo in his pink socks, to which I, of course, happily obliged! My motto is: “If it’s pink and sparkly, I’m game!”

I saw all sorts of things that day - jugglers juggling pink flamingos (because, of course), street theatre bursting with energy, and some fabulous street performers showing off their moves. My own performance was a roaring success! (I’m not saying this out of vanity, darling! I was truly blown away by the sheer joy of it all!) The whole crowd, they really embraced me, and by the end, I think I actually had everyone in a tutu frenzy! Who could resist the Pink Tutu Sparkles appeal? I even spotted a mother-daughter duo wearing pink tutus! Oh, my dear, it was truly magical!

My dear, I was, naturally, dressed in my finest – a voluminous pink tulle tutu with silver sequins cascading like stars, a vibrant, cerise blouse that whispered ‘chic’ (because pink IS chic!), and some stunning pink heels (nothing less for a queen, wouldn't you say?)! The wind tousled my curly, pink hair (and it wouldn't have been my day without a generous sprinkle of shimmery pink eyeshadow and glittery, hot-pink lipstick!)!

Honestly, dear, I had such a good time! Hitchin reminded me of a daydream: vibrant, cheerful, and bursting with the joy of life! And who knows what tomorrow might hold! With my fabulous, pink tutu packed (always have to be ready, you know!) and my heart overflowing with glitter and good vibes, I know it’s going to be an incredible adventure!

Until next time, darling, keep sparkling! And don’t forget – we’re all tutu-worthy, just embrace the pink!

Much love,
